Sailormoon is one of those interesting little anime and manga that is just a wee bit difficult to explain in two paragraphs. Yet, the kind-hearted keeper of this site will do her best! :-)
The story begins with Tsukino Usagi, a fourteen year old girl who is a little bit (ehehehehehehe...understatement..) clutzy and not too swell at school. Usagi stumbles across a black cat being tormented by a group of little boys, and discovers this cat has the shape of a crescent moon on her forehead.
Naturally, the events to follow could be described as sheer chaos. (We wouldn't be reading about an anime if this wasn't true.)
Usagi eventually learns that she is not only a super warrior (Sailormoon) like in the comics she reads, but a princess sent to the future to live a peaceful life there. She also finds that she is not alone in this uncommon situation. As evil breaks free from its long-forgotten prison, Usagi and her cat, Luna, find other sailor soldiers to help her fight against the dark kingdom that destroyed her home so long ago.
Blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda.
Yeah okay, so I'm NOT a fine and dandy little storyteller. ;-p Be nice! SM is most deffinately my largest collection, so enjoy!
