Knight long Dream

Sweet Princess,
Time moves so slowly,
till next we meet;
that I do so dote on thee.

How this monster I despise,
as it keeps me from thee
that;
no strength,
or wit,
ne priking steed,
will bring me closer my Love.

Though could I do fair melly
to marre the beast,
that it exists no mo.
I would dut find,
or would I not?

For I could not hold thee,
gazing longingly into thine eyes,
so lufsum;
waxing in thy Lovie,
and relishing thy lingering cosse
under thy spell.

How time befriends me
when we are together.
Even as it slips trippingly away,
I still am with you;
feeling we are together:
One in heart.
One of mind
Both in soul.

So fair Maiden
I hold my tongue,
Rescinding my wish.
For while I despise the worme,
time,
which I spend with thee is so sweet;
that in forsaking it would
be in limbo lost.
