Players
Hall of fame
old but not forgotten players
Yugo Ikach - pronounced (you go, I catch) and yes that is his real name. Yugo played a wild but seelie Red Cap (Marrow) that loves the brothels as much as a good fight. He is impulsive, and disdains "namby pampy" nobles. Both characteristics get Marrow into lots of trouble. His character is a natural leader, though he follows Lord Morton and is as loyal as they come. Wayne Christopher - played (Lord Morton) a Troll of legendary strength. He is the definitive strong silent type, that lives the adage "actions speak louder than words." While Morton can handle nearly any huge beast they meet; He is prone to turn to Jell-O around a beautiful female. Dale Christopher - Invented the Sluagh, PERIOD. If I gave him the true number of point (for good playing) that he really deserved, his character (Boris) would be a god. Bob Fedor - A wayward Paladin that just barely got by, by splitting hair of his lineage. A very good friend and dynamic player. Bob's most remembered line was when facing a lich mage. "Take my men, take my money, but spare me!" Mark Plecenik - Played the honorable Clauses, true to his word and deeds. We so enjoyed his hospitality in his home. Mark is my cousin, ski buddy, and friend. Jim Novak - James was a long time player and probably holds the record for lost characters. There are far too many tales to tell about him, though I do have so say that things would not have been the same without colorful Lord Kael. Tom Willmitch - is the guy that started this all in 1976. He introduced me into play D&D in collage and look where it has grown. I still talk to Tom today and believe it or not out daughters have the same birthday. Warren Gunderman - While Warren only played for a little over a year, he had more knowledge of the spirit of the game than any of the others. If he had time he should have been running the game. I enjoyed so much sitting in his hand made wooden throne eating cheese and meats as we played in a candle lit room. Warren is great friend and I follow his travel all over the world. He is the godfather to my son, and an inspiration to parenting. I admire him more than any friend I have. Mike , Chuck Johnson, and Dave. Filled our game with fun and laughter. I can still hear Chuck's friendly greeting whenever he met someone. "Ho There." May he rest in peace. Mike Culleiton played Gus the "weather man" cool and calm Mike had an infectious smile and played much above his newness to role playing games. Jim Albert - Jim was fun , crazy , and totally unpredictable. It was so much fun to have him playing with us and I am sorry we lost touch with him when his family moved away. Samantha - While we had many girls play our game She was the best! She had poise about her, and played with confidence. I would have liked to gotten to know her better as a friend, but situations prevented it. Bonnie Gardner - Played, watched, and took an interest in our game. She was a very down to earth girl that I had the great pleasure to call a friend. Pete Panaia - Only played a few game though we talk about our similar jobs quite often. Pete has grown more than anyone I know in the time we have been gaming, and am very glad we remained friends through the years. Russ Frydyrck played Malgoth a wizard that played fair and expected you to do the same (or else). He is also my brother and I enjoyed what time we played with us. Ernie Perri, played a druid to perfection. Once tying a hapless man to a tree he fill him full of arrows trying to get information from him, that he did not have. John and Sandy Chemsak were the first players in my game. They were GREAT friends which is the real reason to play these games. To keep close to your friends. |
