Jessica Drew was given her powers by the High Evolutionary, that were very similar to Spider-man's, but she possesed the venom blast, I type of energy blast. Like a spider attacking its enemy. Jessica became the very first Spider-woman, and embarked on career as a super hero. However, the world didn't seem to
need a Spider-woman, so Jessica retired and became a detective, which she still carries on despite the lost of her powers.

Julia Carpener recieved psi-powers which mimic that of a spider, in doing so Julia became the next Spider-woman, and began a career that took her from the battles of SHIELD to the ranks of the Avengers. After a long career Julia decided to retire to Colorado to raise her teen daughter Rachel. Since the lost of her powers Julia has dedicated herself to her daughter.
Madam Web
Cassadra Web was borned with telekenises powers, which manifested over time. Her powers replaced her sight since she was blind, and she became a type of overseer to Spider-man. Recently Madam Web was given enternal youth and beauty thanks the to the Gathering of the Five ritual. Now Cassadra has resume her role, overseeing Spider-man and the new Spider-woman.
Evil Spider-woman
Charlotte Witter was a fashion designer who was into some dark money lauderying schemes. Her shawdy dealings brought her into contacted with Dr. Octopus, who experimented on her. Doc Ock made Charlotte into a blood thirsty villain with the ability to drain the powers of the other Spider-women. However Charlotte has lost her all her powers that she both had and gained to Martha Franklin. The new Spider-woman.
