May's Friends

Peter Parker
The once legendary Spider-man, and father to May Parker. Peter lost his left leg during his final battle with Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin. The battle left him shaken and with his greatest enemy gone. Peter retired from the super hero business to become a full time father and husband. He became a part of Midtown Police Department's science team with his friend Phil Urich. Over the years he kept an eye on his daughter, seeing if his powers transferred to her. Eventually May's powers came out, and Peter forbided her to become Spider-girl. After May saved his life from the "new" Venom. Peter decided to train his daughter to be the hero, he once was.

Mary Jane Parker
The mother of May and wife to Peter Parker. Mary Jane eventually left the modeling buisness and opened her own magazine company. Which she continues to see over today. At first upset with May becoming Spider-girl. Mary Jane has come to terms with her daughter in the hero buisness. But with May risking her life every day to make a difference. She tends to worry for her daughter.

Courtney Duran
Courtney is one of May's friends from the Science Club. While a good friend to May, Courtney sometimes wonders about May's choices into who she should date, and what guys should just be friends with. Courtney hasn't been the object of anyone's affection until recently. Now that school athlete, Moose thinks she is Spider-Girl, Courtney has started to see him. Which could be the best thing to happen to both of them.

Jimmy Yama
Jimmy is May's other friend from the Science Club, but only a friend in May's eyes. Jimmy's various attempts to ask May out have been thwarted by his own shyness, May's reluctance to see Jimmy as more than a friend, and Moose's pranks. Moose and Jimmy have almost come to blows several times but May or Coach Thompson have broken it up. Jimmy resents May's interferance. We find out Jimmy is cousins with Zane Yama, J2. He still continues to want to date May Parker, but keeps striking out. He just tries to stay friends with May.

Davida Kirby
Davida is May's teammate on the Basketball team. She is also May's confidant more so than Courtney. Usually a tell it how it is type of girl. Davida is always trying to give advice to May, weather she wants it or not. An athlete at heart, the only more important then basketball is good friends. Something Davida is very good at besides her game on the court.

Brad Miller
Brad is May's crush. He's not aware of May's affection for him. He's a jock but seems to be more respectful of Jimmy and Courtney than Moose or Davida. He's currently trying to get over his jelously of JJ, who has become May's new crush. Brad recently started dating Heather Noble. May's rival, while the two have seem happy together. May has been very jealous of the pairing since it started at the school dance. While, it is unknown if Brad has moved on from May and is just trying to date Heather to make May jealous or if he has feelings for her, hasn't been established yet, however Brad does regret giving up on May.

Moose Mansfield
Moose is the Flash Thompson of May's World, but his target is not a Parker but Jimmy Yama. Moose and Jimmy's feud started in issue #1 with a prank. Jimmy's anger at loosing a chance to ask out May several times has escalated the feud. Moose has started to become attracted to Courtney since he thinks that Courtney is Spider Girl. Moose has recently be dealt a blow by breaking his leg in football. However, Moose intends to return to football and is constantly pushing himself, the way he thinks Spider-girl would.

JJ
Jack Jameson, is the grandson of J. Johna Jameson. Since transfering to Midtown High School. JJ has had his eyes set on May Parker and most recently took her to a school dance. Unknown to anyone, JJ is the wanted hero, the Buzz. An idenity who took up following the death of the original hero. While JJ tends to be the normal teenager, he intends to continue the memory of the original Buzz Bannon, as a hero for the times. JJ is also caught between Nancy Yu and May Parker, he rather face evil than that.

Phil Urich
The former "good" Green Goblin and Peter Parker's partner at Midtown Police. Phil Urich is May's friend, and devoted uncle. Over the years Phil has tried to stay in the hero buisness, but he was doomed time and time again. He started training others to be super heroes. Like the Ladyhawk twins. Most recently Phil has gone back into the hero buisness as the heroic Golden Goblin. But the problems that were with Phil in the past, continue to haunt him in the present.

Coach Flash Thompson
The former tormenter of Peter Parker's life. Flash and Peter patched things up between the two of them and they have been friends ever since. Flash is now the basketball coach and gym teacher at Midtown High. While still a tough guy, Flash still remains a great coach, and someone what of a friend to May, and the rest of the girl's basketball team. He wants his girls to be the best, and have his team come shining through on the basketball cort.

Heather Noble
Heather Noble, is one of the popluar girls at Midtown High, and has been a rival of May Parker for some time. Heather has usually tried to make May look bad or show her up. She recently started dating Brad Miller, which really didn't settle well with May. The two are still dating and May is more jealous then ever. Which is just what Heather wants, but Brad and May have been getting closer again, and Heather is not so pleased with that devolopment.

Normie Osborn
The grandson of Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin. Normie took up the Green Goblin idenity following the terminal illness of his mother. He decided to wipe out Peter Parker and his family. However, May stopped him and became Spider-girl. After that the two were enemies. Normie and May struggled twice more, before Normie couldn't honor being the Green Goblin and gave up the idenity. He is now seeking help at a local instatution. He has renewed his friendship with May Parker and is also helping her with his old goblin gear, since she lost her powers. So she can continue as Spider-girl.

Nancy Yu
Nancy Yu was a member of the Central High basketball team, who kept beating everyone on the court. Duing a game with Midtown High, May discovered something strange about Nancy. She followed her and saw her save a young child from being hit by a car. She later discoverd that Nancy was a mutant, a low level telepath. Nancy was offered by Jublee to join the X-people, but she declind. Nancy just wanted to be a doctor not a super hero. Following the confertation, Nancy left the basketball team, thinking that she was using her powers for gain. Being unfair to the other players and her team. She has recently transferred to Midtown High, following her father getting a new job near by. She is also hanging out with JJ. Which really had May mad. However, May has done the impossible and made friends with Nancy. Nancy has even begun to help May with her game on the basketball court.

Ms. Moore
A top reporter for the Daily Bugle. Ms Moore was the first reporter assigned to learn more about Spider-girl when she first showed up. Moore is a complete professional with her work. She always goes for the facts, and leaves almost no stone unturn when she is on a story. May has recently been assigned as her photographer. She has been trying teach May the world of journalism, which is not an easy task.

Ralphie Hicks
The say how he feels guy at Midtown High, better known as the guy people love to hate. Ralphie tends to get himself in hot water with the student body by his procomations, however, he loves it. Ralphie isn't that big of a fan of Spider-girl, but is of Spider-man. Following the debute of the "new" Spider-man. Ralphie is on a power trip saying that Spider-girl would head back into the shadows. Which doesn't have Moose or May that thrilled with him.
