However, Marla is still cought between what's best for her niece and her Martha's father. Who seems to have caused more troubles for her daughter. The problem is how can Marla tell Martha's father the right way to raise his own daughter.

Now, she has begun to train Martha as the new Spider-woman while trying to capture her grand daughter Charlotte Witter, the evil Spider-woman.
