Villain: Absorbing Man
Real Name:Carl "Crusher" Creel
Powers: Ability to take on the property of anything he touches
Origin: Crusher Creel was given superpowers by the god Loki to be his weapon against Thor. These powers made him one of most powerful villains in the Marvel Universe, with the ability to absorb the properties of any object he touched (ex: he he touched iron, he becomes made of iron). He fought Thor many times to a stand-still many times, and has done the same with the Hulk, the Avengers, and Spider-Man. Over the years, he has seemed to reform a bit at times, and was even friendly to Thor for a time, possibly because he found love with his girlfriend (and now wife), Titania. However, any periods of ceased villainy were short, and the two of them have yet to completely reform.
What's Happening Now: Following a fight with Thor, Creel turned himself over to the police so his wife, Titania could get treatment for her cancer. However, if Titania were to die, would anything be able to stop the Absorbing Man from taking his frustration out on the world?
