A new slant.
This page is about life and some wierd things which go along with it. Some interesting ideas me any my friends have discovered along our path (wherever it may take us). Finding ones' self is a journey everyone goes through, it usually lasts a long time, and one discovers new things about oneself along life's path. Life is about learning and learning about yourself is crucial to all your other learning.
"Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they are yours" -Richard Bach
Humanity has had a fascination with trying to determine it's fate since the dawn of time. Wanting to know about love, money, and family (sounds like the psychic hotline). Different ways have been "developed" too do this. I use the word develop loosely since these are generally just fortune telling methods. I don't fully believe in these methods, but I do believe that in many ways it gives you a new perspective of your life and those around you, allowing you to think of many different views all at once. Most of these you can do by yourself, but it can be interesting to do it with a friend too. You may want to choose a close friend who won't care what you discover, of course, you might want to get a complete stranger (such as one of those wierd fortune telling people) who wouldn't be influenced by the knowledge he/she holds.
Here is a list of things me and my friends have tried.
Tarot Cards - a very commonplace item, becoming more and more popular
Rune Stones - not quite as commonplace as Tarot, but still very interesting, many times these use symbols from old languages
Ouji Boards - something I really really dislike for personal reasons of my own, I would prefer noone to use them and I do my best to make sure my friends don't...well not when I'm around anyway

Strange Rituals and stuff.
Now this is not what it sounds like, we don't decapitate chickens and coat our bodies in blood or anything sick and depraved like that. We prefer to leave disgusting stuff like that to the psychologically disturbed individuals rampant in our society today.
My beliefs about these rituals is similar to my belief in divination except these serve a different purpose. These rituals may seem strange at first, but when one is going through any kind of trouble, or is very happy they serve to clear the mind and in some cases release emotions which have been bottled up for a long time. Doing some of these kind of things might brand us as Pagans, Wiccans, or Druids (none of which I would consider an insult, but again society is stuck on stereotypes regarding these different religions). These different rituals clear the mind and help one relax, kind of like meditatation except it uses different styles. Some of these rituals however do come from books pertaining to the Pagan religion (Wiccan and Druid too). Most of them involve communion with nature and getting to know ones' own spiritual self. I'll leave the rest for you to figure out since I am only just beginning to find my true self.

I will add more to this page as I come across it or remember it.
The following links are to say the least interesting. Some of them I don't agree with, but I still put them up, just because they're neat.
