ToC: Tatyana is born

Princess Athena Aikinoa stood quietly at the door to King Aikinoa's room.
She hadn't been summoned and she didn't dare go in. She knew the man was
sleeping and she didn't dare disturb him. She pushed off from the door and
felt her red dress move with her and she brushed her purple hair over her
shoulder. The council was meeting in a few moments and she had already made
up her mind. She touched her the small star birth mark on her hand and moved
to the meeting room.

"Princess Athena." The door man announced to the council as she stepped in.
She smiled and walked it. She stepped up to the table and  placed har hands
palm down. She looked at each of the council members before she spoke, "I'm
leaving the castle."

"What?" Luka, her father's top advisor asked as her stood up. "What ever
for? If your Step-father is sick and dying we will need his heir to be
here."

"You run things well enough without me as it is. I will be gone no longer
then 5 months, and if the King passes in that time you can always send for
me." Athena pulled gently at her dress and then looked at the portrait of
her mother and father. She took strenght in what they taught her and he
turned to the council. "The evil's that have plagued out land for years are
growing stronger. Our forces are barely keeping them at bay most of the
time. Our only option is to awaken the Senshi of legend."

"Princess Athena." another man said and stood up. "If we let you leave how
can we be sure you will be safe. All of Athena knows you and what you look
like."

"Allow me a moment." Princess Athena smiled and nodded. She turned and left
to her chambers. She quickly changed from her favorite red dress into red
slacks and a white shirt. She quickly put her hair up above her ears and
pinned
it into place. As she left her room she grabbed a small glasses case. She
walked into the coucil room and smiled at the men in the room. She placed
the glasses on her face as she spoke, "No one shall know it is me."

"Impressive." Luka said and a few of the men nodded their agreement. "How
will we reach you?"

"I will travel as Aiko Tatyana, a lowly girl learning to duel. You shant
send me any messages for you may blow my cover." Athena said and then turned
to leave, "You are not allowed to tell my Step-Father either. If and when he
dies I will return home. This in an order from your future Queen,if you
value your future as a council man then I wouldn't disobay me."

Faye Syke was in deep trouble. She had let a bar costomer get the better of
her. She had attack him and used magic. Now she was in the middle of a large
wooden cage. That wasn't the bad part. The cage was in the middle of
Rhiona's square and the angery mob was growing.

Syke flicked her blue hair over her shoulder and rubbed the rope that held
her against a rock. The rope was slowly coming undone but not fast enough
for her.  She whispered to herself, "Come on..."

Tatyana walked out into the large main square, leading her horse. She
frowned and looked to the nearest person for help. "Excuse me, but what
happened here?"

"dat gurl started a fight with one of the bar guys. Shes killed him with her
magic and now we gunna kill her." the drunkard said happily. Tatyana frowned
and bit her lip. 'How horrible! But I cannot do a thing for the poor girl.
If I reveal myself then I will never find the senshi.' Suddenly there was a
large cry from the crowd.

Syke smiled as her hands were freed from the rope. She laughed and made
faces at the crowd.
"I'm free, and now you will all pay!" She held her hands together and was
about read to cast a spell but the crackel of fire made her turn. The mob
cheered loudly as the wooden cage began to burn. Syke backed up and
screamed. 'God they really want to kill me!' she thought.

"No!" Tatyana cried and turned. She swung up on her horse and began to turn
away. She couldn't watch this horrible event, just like she couldn't do
anything for the girl.

"I'm not that easy to kill!" Syke cried and knelt. She brought he hands
apart and a small stream of water danced between her hands. She threw the
water, as it grew, at the fire. It put most of it out and she quickly
scrambled out. She climb on top of her cage and laughed.

"Kill her!" The crowd screamed.

Tatyana turned around and saw the girl on the cage. She gasped suddenly as a
blue aurora appeared around her. Tatyana spun her horse and galloped into
the crowd. The transformation stick appeared in Tatyana's hand and she
jumped off her horse up next to Syke. "Don't hurt her!"

"Who are you?" Syke asked and frowned at he purple haired girl.

"Take this and transform. You'll know the words, It's the only way to keep
them from killing you." Tatyana said and handed Syke the wand.

Syke took the stick and was instandly transformed into Sailor Mokina. She
looked down at herself and shrugged. It wasn't bad, but it was also light
and comfortable.

"You can't kill this girl. She is a senshi! She is Sailor Mokina." Tatyana
said and the crowd backed up. Tatyana smiled and then jumped down onto her
horse. She looked up at Mokina and called, "Coming?"

Sailor Mokina nodded and whistled. A black horse trotted out into the square
and Mokina quickly hoped on. "Lets get outta here." She leaned forward and
lead the way out of town. Once safe and away from Rhiona she looked that the
purple haird girl. "Who are you?"

"Aiko Tatyana, also known as Princess Athena. I am gathering the Senshi of
Athena. You are the senshi of water, Sailor Mokina." Tatyana said and
smiled.

"I'm Faye Syke." Syke said and detransformed.

"Yes, I know." Tatyana said and smiled at Syke. She already liked Sailor
Mokina. Tatyana looked at the horizen and felt her hopes rise. She didn't know why or hope...but something deep inside said that everything would be alright from now on.
