| Bobo was born in the Rufskel islands under the name Ruggle Bobarose. As a Rufskelian he shares the Rufskelian's gigantic size (Bobo is nearly 9 feet tall) and super strength. He has the Rufskelian's rough grey skin and downward tusks giving him the appearance of a large humanoid walrus. Little is known about Bobo's past. It is presumed he left the islands at a young ange and travelled the world by sea. In time he eventually became a very skilled sailor but also took on the barbaric personality of the pirate. As his sea life expanded Bobo earned himself his own ship he named "The Bobarose Queen" and also a crew of sailor minotaurs. His pirate deeds were soon recognized all over the world. The only other pirate that could rival Bobo's reputation as the greatest pirate in the world was an old pirate named Jason the Black. Jason and his crew competed with Bobo and his minotaurs for many years over this title. One day the two pirate captains created a contest for the retrieval of a tresure called the Mythril Cup of the Anciant King. Whoever retrieved this item first would win the contest and the loser would give up being a pirate. Although the cup did not have much value the two pirate captains became obsessed over its recovery. After Polk and his party's ship was attacked and destroyed, they found themselves on Bobo's ship, saved by one of the minotaur crewmen. Unfortunately, Captain Bobo was unaware of this and strongly disliked stow aways on his ship. When he found Polk and his party Bobo attacked them. But after the party defeated him they earned Bobo's respect. Bobo took the party north to Gumko to encounter Gylon as they were attempting to before their ship was wrecked. On the way they were attacked by Gylon's Armada and the ship barely made the voyage. With his ship repairing and having his own reasons for revenge agains Gylon, Bobo went with the party. Although he did have a secret agenda to carry out. Bobo didn't exactly join Polk's company officially but after the seperation at Gylon's castle that is how he ended up with them. | |||||||||||
