The Reploids:

The Reploids are a race of robots made with human emotions; the main Reploid is Megaman X. He and his Partner Zero have sworn to protect the human race from the mavericks.

The reploids were first created when a scientist named Dr. Thomas Light had created a robot with human emotions. This robot was called Megaman. Megaman was the first of 5 robots. Three others fought along side with him. They were his sister robot Role, his dog Rush and his brother Protoman. Dr. Light?s assistant saw the robots as a way to carry out evil deeds though and turned Protoman against Megaman. The assistant, named Dr. Wily, became a formidable foe as he created more robots to fight as an army for himself so he could dominate the world. Eventually Wily created a robot called Bass and another named Treble, by this time Protoman had been turned back to normal. These were truly equals to Megaman and Rush. As the fight went on Dr. Light became too old to work and put Megaman in a capsule which turned him into Megaman X, and wily did the same which turned Bass into Zero.

The previous Reploid creator is Dr. Cain. In the year 20XX, the Reploids that defend the humans are known as the Maverick hunters. Mavericks are evil reploids that believe in freedom so much that they will kill for it, these beings are lead by one named Sigma. Sigma was a former maverick hunter commander but turned evil after a battle with Zero, whom was originally a maverick but turned good. The reploids are the most populated race on earth because the mavericks killed most of the humans due to the mavericks craving to be free from humans, but did things the evil way and killed for this power. The Reploids are growing at an astonishing rate and might become the only race on earth, if the mavericks succeed in their plans. Megaman X and Zero are the leaders of the Maverick Hunters and their headquarters are where they track down the mavericks and take them out, but there are few mavericks who are able to beat X and Zero. The only thing to do now is be cautious of mavericks. After the usage of all of Dr. Light?s upgrade capsules, his memento to X, X started from scratch again and began to rely on the current Reploid creator, Dr. Entrant. Dr. Entrant also creates upgrades for other robots like Zero as well now. One thing else Dr. Entrant created was a type of energy cell which would allow Reploids to be more human like by allowing reproduction and most emotions except for severe pain (pain as in your arm is cut off).
