The weak link of Knights of Legend appears to be Brendan.
The Clan appears to be weak from the inside. 2 newbie
pkillers (Rounin, Flower). Rounin has not been around much at all,
Flower at least have been playing as nonclanned. Brendan has made
a mistake, and Ganymede has talked to him about this mistake(not sure
what) for the longest time. Neither men are satisfied. As Flower says
Brendan might have the ambition of becoming the GM by overthrowing
Ganymede. Need to confirm suspicions.
Situation gets heated as Flower enters the discussion. Concerns
are brought up, situation needs to be resolved soon.
Situation is resolved as the two men, on the surface, appear to reconcilate.
We set out to find a new clan hall, none in industrial was good,
so we settled for one in ***. 4:00 in the morning EST, I logged off :P

Brendan appears to be ***. Crying over a shoe from SL for hours.
No solution comes to mind as of this moment. Group of Knights gathered
as usual to help and kill or whatever, however the time is bad as this
is usually late at night (1-4am EST) and no one else is around. It will
be difficult to regain the mud via pkill.

2/25/99
Brendan mudmails all the Knights and says ThrillHammer and Ishmael killed him and stole his Kraken belt. He vows to kill them all. We formed a new group and got him a new one. For most of the night, Ganymede, Brendan, and I were in hell. Seemed to enjoy the run. Still nothing too intersting though. Late in the afternoon, Viper jumped and tried to kill me. I killed "her" easily even though I was out leveled. Marcel and Nothing came to look on. Uncertain about outcome or after-effects.

2/26/99
Brendan again gets into trouble. I log on, etc etc, see Geber gets killed by Leatherface. I asked Geber if that attack was aggressive, the answer was yes. I killed leatherface in return for the favor. A moment later, after I left the room, Brendan kills leatherface. Definately viewed as a multi and definately questionable. This time, he's done it. The accumulation of all his previous incidents, many of which I am not certain, has brought him to a trial. A trial of 3 knights and the GM. Flower, Rictor, and I decides there is enough evidence to put him on probation. We ask Ganymede to do so. He is brought to our safehouse in *** and explained this. He is very displeased, and suggests that he wants out of a clan that doesn't support him. He decides to leave the clan...though it was not necessary.

Brendan is out of the clan but still in group with us when we went to SL, doesn't seem like any hard feelings though still dunno. He says DEs want to perma him...arg...

OTS is reformed by Alexandria. We spoke for quite a bit. Tanzer and I
also spoke. Tanzer is the Guildmaster while Alexandria is the deputy
GM. It would be great if the two clans reform the bond that it
traditionally had. However, Alexandria express concerns about Tanzer
letting some unproven souls into the clan. That waits to be seen.
The final decision about the alliance of course lies with Ganymede.
He has not been around as often as we like, but things are still going
well.

Took Groth as squire. He is still a child. He is new to the mud, lots to learn. Though I am not sure how long it will take and if he ever will be Knight material. Why did I bother...oh right, because I thought I can train anyone to become a knight regardless of their previous standings and/or their experience on Legend. Perhaps I bit off more than I could chew.

...Brendan becomes the GM of Ministry of Darkness. Killed him in a duel. Not sure why he warcried the whole fight instead of headbutt.

 Sir Rounin and I came to Aisha's aid after she was slaughtered by Ma and Agamemnon. Kept the good name of the Knights. Everyone on mud was happy. We slaughtered Ma and Agamemnon in their grendel house. Got lucky we made it out alive. Rounin later died when the two came back for revenge.

 Alex gets too over anxious and asks for Flea and my help to beat Craven, Leatherface, Aginor, Barabas, etc...The situation turns out that they were not after her at all, in fact they were after Cheesy_poofs. It later turns into a 6 on 1 maybe 7 on 2 chase against Leatherface and Aginor. It was almost embarrassing.

Its been about 5 days since Alex decided not to help the Knights any more because the favor is not repaid by the Knights. OTS seems to be cold toward the Knights. No grouping, etc etc. Though no aggressive attacks.
West is closer to being unclanned. At almost 16mil to level now. RP coming along really well or so I hope. Flower and Gany disappears for a week, rl trip. Groth is coming along fine, he has attempted to learn Industrial finally. Rounin thus far is still not too familiar with the era...hard to believe.
 For the last few days, I've been spending time with Cloud_kitten. Cloud_kitten is Flower's sister. Everything seems to be going great. Rosalyn or something...I met her twice and Alex wants to hook us up. This was before Alex stopped talking to me :P.

 Sent Minako a box of cholocates after she sent me a teddy bear.
Possible alliance between a couple of clans to kill all those that are evil. Rictor proposes that Herms, Knights, OTS, DEs, Camels, and Covens band together against Grendels, Ministry of Darkness, and Bonzai. Looks for our support, I think its good except the DEs part.

 Craven multis me after duel with Barabas and Ronnie with Ganymede. We lost badly, none mages. Geber gets knighted, log slated for LT.

 LF kills me while questing in Carnival. Its been long over due, I've been putting off the 'duel' for some time now. Strung my tea kettle and got some tea cups. Ruby invades my fishing hut trying to kill Flower. Ruby dies horribly as Flower and I kill him with the doors locked. I thought about not giving him his eq back, but let him back in anyway.

 God damn Knights are a crazy bunch. Sexporium in ... deleted...? Jeus Christ! God damn, I have no ... deleted... idea what the hell is going on. But its pretty funny and fun to play around/joke around with so its cool. Who is Hwang? He is annoying enough for me to start gagging, now thats a first. He isn't even enabled and he attempts to talk big. Now I understand why Rounin wants to kill him. So do I. Rask attemps to kill me on a DIS run. He goes to the dis keeper, gets whooped by Shino_Kage, Geber, and I, he runs for it invis.

 Went to see Mert about marrying Minako. Mertjai sent me on a quest for 3 items of varying difficulties. The first was the arrowhead, i went for that one last knowing that it'll take the longest to get...The 2nd was a pair of sturdy black gloves from Dristor. That was done in 5 mins. The last was a scale of the sea serpent. I knew it was impossible to get one on my own without help and I didn't want to involve Minako in this, so eventually I gave mert the one on my arms. So I got her all three items. It was no big deal since I decided to get some magic and make dopples the next day to get the shield, but bought it off auction instead. not too bad.

 Killed LF. Got some xp. Nothing major. Keep forgetting to enter in log. Got killed 2 times today, first killer then cyclops, yet I'm still around 5mil to 50mil...Blah! Could be 4mil to 50 already.

    Knights Q&A tonight. Knight bashing for most part. Talked about wolfpacking, backstabbing and why its prohibited for the knights. Gany shows up 40 mins late because of ISP problems. Rictor starts in his stead. Gany answers the backstab problem by saying that from an rp point of view, it is not honorable by coming up from someone's back and poking a stick at them. But from a game point of view, it is not too bad. Most really didn't care for the Q&A, but just wanted to bash the knights. I saw no 'new blood' at the Q&A. In my eyes, it was a failure.

    Sir Rictor has left the clan. He posted to the warboard without another note on the clanboard. It was a surprised. According to Flea, whom I do trust as I do with all the knights, Craven pushed Rictor over the edge. Thus when Flea asked for assistance in killing Craven, I proceeded. His death was guaranteed, however after the battle, he accused us of looting. That we do not take lightly and a slight argument erupted over chat. He openly declares war on the Knights, making official what has been in practice since the creation of the clan. After Flea leaves, he threatens him with perma. I said we do not take permas lightly. He recanted. Multis are still a threat. We are at full scale war now, hopefully he will play according to the rules and not multi until everyone turns off info, but this I doubt. Minako and I are to be wed in 8 days. This sets a tension between us because now, how do I leave the clan when its at full scale war? I am at 890k from unclan.

    The wedding was a slight disaster but saved at the second when other imms jumped in to help. The details of my thoughts and the entire event is in the wedding log. The Bachelor party was interesting and logged as well.

    Today is July 10th. The first day I remembered to enter a journal entry. However, much has happened in the last month as expected. Minako and I have planned to start a rp of a family. The kid is going to be played by ***, however under a Japanese name that Minako has picked out. If all goes to my plan, I will have a naming ceremony in which I want to name the child and have a middle name in honor of Ganymede. But that has yet to be discussed. My Legend Trivia is going to be run starting 7/14 which is a Tuesday. It will run for 3 nights in a row, totaling 145 questions and over 150 points. Hope all goes well. Sir Rictor, Sir West, Sir Rounin, Sir Dragonreborn, Sir Ganymede left the knights in that order in the period of about 1 month. That leaves the knights in great turmoil. I still try to give assistance whenever possible but only in rp, xp, or eq as that is the only way I can still give help. They have knighted several new characters. Sir Semper was left as the guild master and Lady Flower has gone inactive. That pretty much just killed the knight crew that I was familiar with when I joined the knights. However, I think I am still on good terms with the knights, making new relations along the way. Minako on the other hand have lost the desire to associate with the other knights. This is due to a lot of issues that came about while I was away for 2 weeks. I think it is also partly due to the fact that the group as mentioned before has left the knight clan and now replaced -- seemingly overnight -- by a totally new group of people. Vampyr -- a squire that I've recently gotten to known -- ... deleted...., however I do not doubt Vampyr's character nor integrity. I hope I am not wrong. Sir Geber still remains with the clan but like before, he is not around until late at night and occupied with irl business. Sir Flea is also around, doing what he did as usual, however not influential, unfortunately. I know I must have missed several things that I should be noting here, but hopefully, I will remember them and record it here for future reference.

    Minako has been pregnant for several rl days now and soon it will be time for our child to be born. My absence from Legend can be explained by a feeling of boredom and exhaustion for the last several nights. The tinyplot where Ronnie and several evil people take over most of the mud save Klein where the Knights defended until death fell upon the warriors. I'm not sure of the events that came after this. I've heard of complaints where those not already in the tp are ignored and cannot enter the tp. Personally, I hate this kind of planned tp. IHMO, it is a success if and only if you can drag the entire mud into it WITHOUT planning everyone's every move. Anyway, *** will play the child. So...whats the name of the child. I forget what we decided on. If situation permits, I will have a naming ceremony and name our child. I want his middle name to be Ganymede, but I'm still considering the consequences of this decision. It may be extremely and unusually difficult for *** to play this role, however to West and Minako, this only furthers the rp. Ganymede was a dear dear friend to both. I'll have to see.

    Lead SL 2 nights ago. Failed terribly at Calatin for some reason. We were barely hitting him. ... deleted.... evaluated for future note. ... deleted....still to be seen. Our child will be born in the next few days. Hopes are high and dreams are far. But they do not always turn out the way we want them. Yet it is our innate duties to raise him to the dreams and hopes that awaits him. Satoshi is his name.

    The birth of Satoshi was strange. On this eve, Minako gave birth to our first son Satoshi, however having him talking and eating solid food 10 minutes after birth was a bit for me to grasp. Minako praised him on info so it was announced to the world that he was our son. Things will start rolling from here. We'll see what happens.

    This should have been entered a while ago but Rictor became the Merc GM for a good while now, my guess is at about 2 weeks. The Mercs have gone to war with the MoDs with losses on both sides and the usual pk babber and bashing. *** appears to be breaking Minako down bit by bit, but there is little I can do. If I was to ... deleted...., it might just make it worse. I've already spoken to Minako ... deleted...., she seems oblivious to my suggestion. I wonder when she'll be back complaining about the entire situation.

    Last night we avoided *** again. However it was invisible to the entire group as we left as a newly wed couple sneaking off by themselves. We sat around for a while and talked like we've done so many on so many sittings. It feels more like a chat between  two good friends than anything else. I enjoyed the night.

    It should be yesterday morning or the 8/4. Since its already past midnight, its 8/6 now. Minako asks me if she should leave the clan because of ***. Leave the clan?!?! That's her family, Mertjai her mother, Nadya her mother, Huggy and others. How can I be not concerned about Minako even thinking about this. Leaving because of  *** would be foolish to say the least....Paragraph deleted...

These are my thoughts at this time and place.

    Reading back on previous journal entries (7/28), I noticed I was correct  ... deleted.... Manipulation is powerful ... deleted..... Perhaps the word is too strong, but merely concealing certain truths. I'm not sure.  ... deleted.... She has over 1.2mil in her account ... deleted..... The rest of that night, which one exactly I don't remember, I was a bit more solemn than normal. The situation's gotten worse and worse, I do not know how I could make ... deleted....
    Haven't seen Satoshi at all since the night he was 'born.' This upsets me for he was so eager to play the role. He is busy with his pk alt which also surprises me since I've never seen that side of him. Yet, I will maintain the role which I play and discard my thoughts to the side. Satoshi is Satoshi.
    Built a 4 room house in Quebec. Costing me about 8k. If I include the Orkney hut, rent is barely under 10k.

    ... Paragraph deleted.... Since I came back to Legend I hated the idea of crossplaying and revealing alts to be powerleveled. Maybe its because I've help so many people powerlevel before and I've never asked anyone to powerlevel me or maybe its just because I dislike *** or all the things *** did to other people. I have now at least two sources in addition to me that wishes ... deleted.... Seems like she didn't take my advice. I can do no more. I won't put her or better yet, myself through last Friday night again if it doesn't do any good.

    Well, it took me enough to finally convince myself that *** was the one behind the attempt coup de d'tat against Ganymede. It's clear now though, its all clear now. Again my judgement failed.

    It finally came. Confrontation. *** gave a 4 room house to Minako. As West I can no longer just stand aside. Minako after all is West's wife. I cannot allow a gift like this to be given for no particular reason except he wanted to be nice and whatnot. That is just full of crap. I hope Minako finally saw the two faces of ***. I noticed someone else also tried to convince her of the same, this is the 3rd person I noticed, in addition to me, that wished for her well-being. I'm still waiting to see what happens today and what Minako will do. She was determined yesterday to stand by West's side, I will see what happens today. ... deleted...

    Haven't logged on Legend much for a couple of weeks now. Gotten all the icq #s I wanted, selling the house, announced the webpage. Nothing holding me back from quiting now.
