Nearly everyone I meet,
Sees the docks, braves, and trees,
But few underneath the surface.
The moment the words filled my eyes,
An unmeasurable delight filled my heart.
Though I wish I can tell you in person,
I can only resort to mail.
I long for the carefree chats,
Under the moonlit twilights,
Watching the fireflies dance,
Talking for days at a time.
I long for the sweet salmons,
The barrels of fresh water,
The taste of the scraggly roots,
The moments that makes up life.
Let time bring us together,
Again we shall talk carefree,
From day till night, night till day.
All in time, all in time.
