A Sonnet for Minako

 Wishing that we could walk
through the years together,
Protecting you from hawk
cloaked in peacock's feather.

Wishing for that eternal song
That would carry us away,
Yet the song however long,
Would forever end someday.

Remember all the things
We've shared and seen.
Forget all the things,
We thought that might have been

There is one thing that I will do,
I will always think of you.

    I never thought about leaving Legend when I created West. Out of all the things that I planned, leaving in the middle of things wasn't one of them. But as soon as Legend starts interfering with my life, then it's time to call it quits. If I can't make West the best he can be, then there is simply no point in playing anymore. The sonnet is based on the English form of abab cdcd efef gg with every other line rhyming.
