thinks of Anita
Post 1:
Jean-Claude sat at his desk
in his private office under the Circus. The Irish lace on the cuffs of
his shirt brushed the pages of the catalogue he was browsing. The Nieman-Marcus
Christmas catalogue offered such tempting delights. Ah, Anita. She was
never easy to shop for. He had offered her eternity and she had declined.
He had offered his love, his body and all the power their union might bring,
and still she declined. But that was part of the unending attraction.
At last, he found it; a small jewel
encrusted penguin with sapphire eyes. The cost almost made him hesitate,
but only for a moment. Unlike the deluded masses, he understood that money
did not bring power, merely convenience. He dialed the number and listened
to Kenny G waiting for the promised operator.
