The following evening was a quiet one as Daniel silently moved his way off of the king sized bed and headed into the normal sized bathroom. He thought about what happened last night and the time in the garden that led up to it. He slightly smiled at his reflection in the mirror then turned away from it. His being a vampire hadn't scared Darren in the least. More than anything, it seemed to intrigue him and he of course, being the more curious one, decided to see what it was all about. Daniel did try to discourage him from it, but in the end, Darren got his way. Like always. Daniel grinned about that. He reached into the shower and turned on the water and let temperature get to where he wanted it then stepped in.
Darren had awaken from a dream, and it was good to know that it was just that. He studied the moonlit room that he was in. Quite big, not the normal size of a hotel room. Not by any standards. He sighed abit after realizing that he was indeed safe now and sat up against the brown wooded headboard. He listened as the shower water softly ran and the water being slightly splashed as it did so. He smiled slightly. Sitting in the dark made for very good company for him especially now. Daniel had gave him the choice to be like him or remain as he was. The romantic side of the vampire made him want to know more. He was well aware of the other side, though thankfully, he hadn't seen that. Nor did he want to. And being with Daniel, was more than enough for him. Darren smiled again as he heard the water being shut off and the curtain sliding open. He watched the area of the hall that led to the bathroom in silence.
Daniel toweled himself off and put on a fresh pair of boxers, his dark slack pants and a shirt. Studying himself again in the mirror, opened the door to the bathroom and stepped out. He heard Darren say before switching off the light, "Going out, then?" Daniel grinned slightly and leaned against the wall to the room. The dim bathroom light outlined him perfectly. He spoke, "I thought about it. Why don't you come with me." That wasn't a question and Darren knew it. He smiled and climbed off the bed and walked towards him. Daniel watched him in silence as he made his way over to him. He was extremely beautiful, Daniel thought. So innocent yet not. Perfect choice for me. Darren stood just an inch away from him then said softly, "Are we going to look for someone to play with then?" Daniel laughed abit then answered, "To play with. Not to hurt."
Darren smiled again then replied, "Not to hurt. I think I can manage that." And headed into the bathroom then closed the door behind him. Daniel smiled and shook his head then switched on the rooms bedroom light. He sat down in a brown swivel chair and waited for Darren to finish. Sometimes it took him ages to do so, but tonight, Daniel knew that this would be a record setter for his friend. He laughed to himself and picked up a table magazine laying nearby. About thirty minutes later, Darren came out of the bathroom and asked, "How's this?" Daniel looked up and studied him. He had his shoulder length black hair brushed back away from his face. He had on a dark coloured button-up shirt and black jeans with his trademark boots. Daniel grinned and replied, "You look like you're ready for a show, mate." Darren laughed and said leaning against the wall this time, "In a way, I am." Daniel stood up from the chair and walked over to him then said as he ran a hand through his dark hair, "So beautiful you are." Darren smiled and just nodded slightly.
Daniel grabbed his coat and handed Darren his then said as they put them on, "Ready?" Darren nodded and switched off the light and then the bathroom light as they walked out of the room. When they entered the hotel bar area, it was already somewhat packed with people. Which seemed strange, because it was just barely past eight in the evening. They found a table off to the left of the room and sat down at it. Shortly thereafter, a blonde waitress wandered over and said taking out her order pad, "Great to see you guys here this early. What can I get you this evening?" Daniel looked up at her then said with a smile, "A beer for me thanks. We just wanted to tour the area is all." She smiled and nodded then wrote down what Daniel had ordered, then turned to Darren. He was watching her and how she moved, then said quickly, "Water please." The girl smiled at him then left the table. Daniel said leaning over a bit, "Already spotted someone eh?" Darren grinned and answered, "I could use a bit of that." He laughed and sat back against his chair and watched as the girl came back over then handed them their drinks.
He spoke before she left, "Are you going to be busy later?" The girl looked at him then at Darren and answered with a bit of a curious smile, "No. Why?" Daniel said taking a drink from the clear glass, "No reason. It's just that my friend here, rather fancies you, is all." Darren smiled at this and to keep from saying anything took a drink of his water. The girl blushed abit then answered, "Well. I don't usually take up on a patrons advances, but in you guys' case I think I can make an exception." Daniel smiled then said, "Meet us in the hotel garden after you get off work, then." She returned the smile then said, "Okay. See you then." He nodded and watched as she left the table then turned to Darren and said, "Will you need me for this one." Darren looked at him then answered finishing off his water, "I don't believe so, mate." Daniel laughed slightly and got another drink from his beer.
It was around 9:30pm when they left the bar. Daniel had found something else to occupy his time and had left Darren in the garden sitting on a white stone carved bench. A few minutes later the girl from the bar came up to him asked as she sat down, "Where's your friend?" Darren looked at her then smiled and said, "He'll be along later. What's your name, love?" She smiled back and replied, "Cammie." He took in a deep breath, savouring the sweet smell of her then and smiled. She watched him abit then said, "We can go for a walk if you like." Darren nodded and stood then took her hand. They walked the full length of the garden and rested over by some huge trees. Cammie said as they sat down among the rose bushes, "It sure is beautiful here at night." Darren looked up at the night sky then answered, "The night is always beautiful." She looked at him then smiled and asked, "You prefer the night then, Darren?" He nodded and brushed her long hair off her shoulder then answered, "It's basically all I've known for about 6 years now."
Cammie's smile faded then she asked, "You've never seen the daylight?" Darren quickly rebounded with, "I mean with us touring alot and getting to see so many different parts of the world at odd hours, our daylight hours are very nil.. almost nothing. We mainly see the night." Cammie nodded with another smile. She was beside herself hearing this and talking to the singer from the group. The one that she secretly had a massive crush on. She was going to say something else when Daniel walked up to them and spoke, "Hope I didn't crash the party here." Darren said standing up and helping her as well, "Nope. We were just talking. By the way, Daniel, this is Cammie." He nodded smiling, but didn't say anything. She smiled back and looked away. She was beginning to feel slightly ackward around him.
Daniel spoke again, "I'm going to head up to my room, mate. See you later?" Darren nodded and waved to him as he left. Cammie said after a bit, "I don't think he likes me very much." Darren looked at her then answered softly touching her face which sent a tingle up her spine, "Don't worry over him, love. He's just being himself. Come on let's go back." She smiled and took his hand when he offered it. They walked in silence back through the garden and into the hotel.
