Nefarious Characters & Hidden Heroes
|
Brandy
|
Unbeknownst to her, or anyone else (aside from a few really neat
and mystical sources) Brandy is the heir to the throne of Moonshadow.
She is currently working at a dockside bar in Aeyn and is madly in love
with a half-elven pirate. She wears a silver locket with a cunningly
worked miniature lock inside of it. Brandy lacks the key and so the
inside of the locket remains a mystery.

Kelcasten, Baron Johann
|
Actually a vampire, lich, or something similarly nasty. He
will begin as the party's mentor and steer them towards "heroic" quests
that will actually only hurt the people involved in them. Eventually
the characters must discover this and stop him. He is the mastermind
who plans to reopen the portal located within the throne room of Castle
Aeyn and open the way for the return of the Phyrran demons.

|
Gladior
|
The mage of Aeyn. Not exactly a hidden hero, but the fact
that he knows who Brandy's parents are should be of some be of some note.
Of course, Baron Kelcasten knows as well and that's why Gladior must be
kidnapped at some point in time, so that some good party can save him and
he can hurry them on the quest to find Brandy just before Kelcasten's goons
do.

Salar Firenze
|
Salar was once a very, very good man. His friendship with
King Gregory was founded on their similar love for the wellbeing of the
people of Baklava. Then he went to train to be a paladin in the highland
stronghold of Falconrest. On his way there, he was contacted by...something.
He really isn't sure himself but whatever it was, it was someone of great
power. The being in his vision promised him great power in exchange
for his obiedience to it. Salar forsook his vows to uphold good above
all others before he could even take them in front of a true priest
of Amerisa at Falconhurst. Since he finished his training, he has
returned to Cayenne, but with malicious intentions for its people and all
others. His appointment to as Minister of Trade has allowed him to
constrict trade with the rest of the continent and to promote unrest in
the entire region.
