LOVE'S ETERNAL SPRING

The sun has kissed the meadow,

And its radiance fills the air;

So may our life human unfold

With love divinely fair.

Love is the good that is in the heart,

And life is sweet when faith is

here;

Life is joy when hope flies not away,

And life is all and all---when love

is near.

The stars up in the quiet skies,

All speak of love to me

Oh, may their beams of a message give

Of love, to all humanity.

Teach our starved hearts that craves

and yeans,

A love that will hold it fast---

Deeper than earthly seas of love,

And than more mighty worlds more

vast.

Oh love thou art a melody

of songs changed into rest;

In waking day or sleeping night,

Love hold us to thy breast.

Oh love, give us a hope so firm,

A melody of hope now sing,

And may our restless souls unite

In love's eternal spring.
