CDMACalc
Receiver System Analysis for IS-95 Systems
CDMACalc is a receiver system block diagram simulator designed specifically for IS-95 type
CDMA systems. Up to eight system blocks may be entered from the system block palette. CDMACalc provides
file support; system designs may be saved for use at a later date without having to re-enter data.
CDMACalc calculates:
• System gain
• System noise figure
• System third order intercept point
• System sensitivity (given Eb/No, processing gain, and channel offset).
• Carrier-to-Noise ratio of each stage
CDMACalc is menu driven and easy to use. Simply select a system block from the palette, fill in the data, and analyze. System blocks include:
• Amplifier
• Mixer
• Attenuator
• Filter
A unique algorithm allows accurate simulation of filter effects; different gains at different frequencies
may be entered.
While CDMACalc is easy to use, a help system is provided explaining data entry and terminology used
in the program.
