RXStats
Receiver System Statistical Analysis
RXStats simulates the statistical performance of receiver systems. Up to eight stages may be entered for analysis. Up to 32,766 system simulations may be run to determine the anticipated performance of the receiver.
System blocks include:
Amplifier
Attenuator
Filter
Mixer
Maximum, minimum, and nominal values are specified by the user for the following receiver parameters:
Gain on-channel
Gain at first and second interfering channels
Noise figure
Third order intercept point
Normal (Gaussian) or uniform (flat) distribution of parameters may be specified.
RXStats provides the following outputs:
Minimum, maximum, and mean values of noise figure, sensitivity, third order intercept point, and intermodulation ratio as well as the standard deviation of each parameter.
Yield analysis pass/fail analysis based on user-specified goals.
RXStats helps determine where the design is centered and which system blocks are most likely to cause specification compliance issues. These are critical items in todays high volume manufacturing of wireless products.
RXStats is menu driven and easy to use simply select system blocks from the menu, enter parameters and yield goals, then simulate. File support is provided to avoid tedious re-entry of data. A help system is provided that explains program operation and terminology used.
RXStats is affordable. Compare the price of RXCalc to other commercially available software or to the cost of
writing your own spreadsheet - you will agree RXCalc is an excellent value.
