Close-up of Lydia the Mermaid

A closeup look at the lovely face of Lydia the Mermaid. Shelly has painted her eyes golden brown rimmed by black. Notice the lovely blush on her cheeks. She also wears a seductive lipcolor!

Unique Headpiece
While putting the finishing touches to Lydia the Mermaid, Shelly has this great idea of putting a headpiece on the mermaid, instead of the usual bareheaded look, or the flowers and shells. Here she puts on the headpiece on Lydia the Mermaid, just to show me how the mermaid would look wearing the headpiece. Of course she promises me that Lydia will have hair when she's done! :))

Lydia the Mermaid - Finally
May I present Lydia the Mermaid in all her glamor!I simply loved this mermaid doll when I saw her. In fact as I watched pics of her as Shelly was working on her, I was already falling in love with her. Here she is, looking like a golden mermaid princess seated on top of a seashell. Lydia the Mermaid is one of the very first mermaid dolls in my collection; and today she remains one of my favorites.
