History: Rad was kidnapped from his home along with his friends Gerrard, Ignus, and Pots. Taken underground where they were all given special abilities, enhanced senses, and also were mixed with elemental substances. The evil magicians also wanted to get these four to be their servants. Gerrard and Ignus couldn't stand up to the brainwash so they fell victim, but Rad and Pots managed to make it through and also escaped. Now Rad and Pots battle their other two best friends. Donning heavy armor on his torso, gauntlets that cover his forearms, and grieves that reach his knees, all at least 6 inches thick, Rad becomes Heavy Metal, the hero that can take as much damage as he can dish out. But he can't stand seeing the innocent hurt.
