History: Nibiru was the tenth planet of the solar system. During the Silver Millennium, it's existence was doubted until Sailor Pluto was sent as an ambassador to it, at Serenity's orders. She returned to report that Nibiru was a primitive planet, inhabited by tribal people who worshipped trees and led by a woman called Chieftain Nemesis. Serenity and Pluto denied Nibiru entrance to the Silver Millennium, and even denied its existence for about ten years. Then, an asteroid was discovered to be headed straight for Pluto. Before anyone could do anything, it suddenly vanished. Serenity herself went to Nibiru, and learned from a shaman named Ambrosius about how the trees had destroyed it at the people's request. Serenity spoke to Nemesis, and considered bringing Nibiru into the Silver Millennium. However, their primitive lifestyle did not fit with her enlightened kingdom, and she decided against it. Nemesis was furious, and knew that Serenity would be her ruin. Three decades later, the Dark Kingdom attacked Nibiru, and Nemesis was raped by a youma. Ambrosius saved her and took her to a sacred grove, where she gave birth to a girl nine months later. She tried to kill the baby, but Ambrosius stopped her. Nemesis grew furious again, and told him to take the girl and go. He took her to an asteroid called Kao, and raised her to be a fighter who would avenge Nibiru. In honor, he named her after the planet. She grew to be a strong, spiritual fighter. Seeing that the Silver Millennium had fallen, and its inhabitants had been sent to the future, Ambrosius decided to give Nibiru longevity. Although she would not be immortal, she would continue to exist in her exact state until she would die at the hand of herself or someone else. In order to do this, he killed himself and gave her his life. However, he was immediately reincarnated into the body of a Sacred Hawk, and continued to teach and guide Nibiru for the next thousand years. When the time came, they prayed to the trees, and traveled to Earth. Their goal: Punish the Dark Kingdom for destroying Nibiru, and Punish the Silver Millennium for abandoning it. |
