When his grandfather was on his deathbed, he gave Tye his Kantana, and his Cat's First Child. Tye's father gave Tye training in the martial arts, as a last wish of his grandfather. Tye had a strange knack for the art. As he grew older, his parent's wealth fell, And they could no longer support Tye and his brother. They disowned them, and fled, leaving the two to fend on their own. Tye got a low paying job, and spent all his money on his brother, to give him a small apartment room to sleep in. Tye stayed on the streets, not having enough money to care for himself. Tye's cat stayed by his side, and helped in anyway he could.
