This is where a sample picture of each beast may
be found. Currently we have about four types of beasts...hopefully more
will come. I drew all of these myself using ClarisWorks 4.0 (nothin' special)
and I don't want any of these drawings stolen. If you want a picture for
another reason than a web pet, contact me at [email protected] or ICQ
me. My ICQ number is 9293408.

Gryphon
This is the mythical gryphon, also spelled by others
"griffin" and "griffon". It has the head, wings, and forelegs of an eagle,
and it has the body, tail, and hind legs of a lion. Along with that, it
has pointed ears, giving it an acute sense of hearing. It is of European
mythology, and is supposedly known to hate horses, unicorns, and the like.
But, some do not care about the hatred of horsekin, and live alongside
horsekin.
Hippocampus
The hippocampus is a mythical creature derived from
Greek mythology. It has the front part of a horse and a body part of a
fish, with a little of fin and scale here and there. It supposedly pulled
the chariot of the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon.
Medieval Dragon
The well-known dragon of European mythology is a
terrifying reptilian winged creature, with scales, horns, claws, and a
gaping maw full of teeth. It is a known fact it breathes fire, probably
the most dangerous of its attacks. One of the most feared creatures in
European mythology, it is very powerful, battle-strengthened, and also
at the same time a being of high intelligence. A dragon can become a great
friend, that is, if you treat it the correct way.
Oriental Dragon
The Oriental dragon is similar to the Medieval dragon,
but some things are different. Oriental Dragons are from Asian mythology,
and have longer, serpentine bodies. An Oriental dragon is wiser than its
western cousin, kinder, and does not enjoy bloodshed. Instead of fire,
it breathes a thick grey mist, which is still one of its most feared attacks.
The Oriental dragons are also a lot richer than the European dragons.
Phoenix
The phoenix is a mythical creature of Egyptian and
Asian mythology. It has a very long lifespan, living from a few centuries
to eons of time, which is about 500 years to 7000 years. It was described
as a firebird because after it died, it was reborn from its fiery ashes
of death, living again for eons, which made it practically immortal.
Unicorn
This fabled creature is from European and Asian mythology.
It is a horse, with a great, twisting horn on its forehead. Some believe
it to have been the first description of a rhinoceros, but rumors and the
like have twisted it to a more beautiful and accepted creature. By European
legend, only a fair maiden may tame it, becoming a great friend to the
unicorn and its kind.
Will O' Wisp
What is known about this haunting creature is mainly
shrouded in mystery. I believe it originated from gothic horror or possibly
Scottish/Irish mythology. I'm not quite sure about it, though. The will
o'wisp is a creature that dwells in the darkness of swamps and bogs. It
can shape itself to look like a lantern or any other source of light, making
it the perfect hunter - and killer.
