spell_effect = This spell was created by the sorcerer Dominick
Wickondale having barely survived an unexpected scuffle with a lower
planes creature. Noticing the demon reacted harshly to his mere magical
missle spells will standing up to such power hitters such as fireball
and lightning bolt, Dominick set out to create a spell using the
dimesnions, range and damage potentials of a fire ball, while
possessing a purely magical spell nature. Globe of force was born. The
globe of force operates in every aspect like a fireball, save it begins
it's path as a small white globe, about 1' in diameter. Upon connecting
with it's target the globe detinates in a pattern similar to a drop of
water hitting a pond; in ripples of magical force. The energy is that
of a magical missle and hence creatures susceptable to that particular
spell suffer full dmg from this spell as well. Globe of force causes
1d6 dmg per lvl, max of 10. So, in all respects, this spell is a magic
missle form of fireball. This can be very usefull, no chance of fire
(energy seems to only effect organic material, much like magical
missle), and some very dangerous beasts are quite suscpetable to
magical missle making this a potent spell in some aspects. The only
drawback to fireball is the material component, which is a small, fine
crystal globe worth 200 gp. The globe is consumed by the enrgies of the
spell.
