Stant's Bio I was born in Maizek, Naela kingdom, located in the Barbarian lands of Anyark. I lived the simple life. My father, Denos, was in the kings service as a military adviser, so naturally I learned the ways of war at very young age. During one of the Great Barbarian Wars, my mother, Laone, was killed, and our town was almost completely destroyed. I was only 8 years old at the time. Me and my father where given a place to stay by the king, until the town was rebuilt. So we moved to Naela Castle shortly after that. Maizek was nearly all but gone from the face of Taera for years. During another war between all of the barbarian kingdoms, my father was wounded in battle. He was no longer able to fullfill his duties on the battle field. Our way of life states that I must then take my father's place in the battles. So at the young age of 16, I began to train for the military. One of the other recruits was my age too. He was an elf named Lichram. We became good friends as well as very skilled warriors. Myself, I chose the ways of the sword. An elegant weapon. Fast, light, and very deadly. In our society, your sword carries your family crest on one side and your personal status on the other. It's a little piece that slides down the shaft of the sword and ties around the base, so you can switch it from sword to sword. Other's noticed that when I fight, I would become so filled with rage that I nearly forgot all that was going on around me. During one battle, we were outnumbered 10 to 1. We were only 20 in number, and for some strange reason, we all knew we had to win or Naela would fall. As the battle began, we were ordered to charge head on. My fellow fighters were falling left and right. Then, out of no where, I yelled at the top of my lungs and began to fight with a strenght and tenacity that even I was surprised at. In a few short minutes, our enemy had been slain, and what was left of my battle group, had all fled at the sight of my rage during the battle. I made my way back to the castle, only to find out that I would not be allowed in because they thought that a deamon had posessed me. I went to the Great Shaman, Athonnez, the only other elf in our kingdom, to find answers for what was happening. He told me to pray to the god Nanrda to find the answers that I seek. In a dream, Nandra revealed himself to me, and told me that I had the blood of a bezerker running through me, and that others would fear me in battle because of it. He also told me that he would watch over my career, and if I proved myself worthy, I'd be given his blessings and be transformed into one of his Holy Order of Storm Knights. I had no idea why I was given this gift, but I accepted and and told Athonnez about my dream. Athonnez went to the king with this new information. The King came to me personally and thanked me for my efforts in the battle that would have been the end of Naela had it gone any other way. I gratiously accepted the kings personal crest. This crest proved to all that I was a hero of the lands. I became an honored and feared fighter and rose through the ranks very quickly. Thero also appered to me. He told me that I f my goal in life was to become a hero, I would have to abide by certain rules. Just then a glowing gold scroll fell to the ground, and Thero was no longer there. I read the scroll and figured that these were the famed rules of the Paladins. I read the rules and then hid the golden scroll, figuring it might come in handy later. One night, I had a vision that our world was in great trouble. When I awoke, I headed straight over to Athonnez's place to tell him about it. I arrived at the same time Lichram did. We went inside and dicovered that all three of us had the same dream. The Shaman told us that we must leave for Montesparse immediately. We set out, only to be separated on the way. I looked for Lichram for days, but not having any luck. With no other option, I continued on my way. When I reached Montesparse, I found that hundreds of other warriors were also there ,warriors from far way, warriors of every race, warriors of every shape and size, and they all were there to stop what ever this was that was trying to destroy us. I knew that with this much attention, the gods themselves must have sent word to all the greatest fighters to aide them. This was much bigger than I would have ever imagined. I entered the mines like all the others and began to rid the land of these beasts and monsters. After a few weeks, my best and closest friend appeared before my eyes. Lichram had returned. We teamed up against an unknown foe, and prepared for anything that was to face us.
