Missing You - Misty's Story
note: Please read the story I Love You? for more info on this story. names have been used which seem to be rumors and names I need to make up(especially the middle names, they're important for the next few chapters however I need these names). It has been one year since Misty left Ash so they are Ash-20 and Misty-22.
Chapter One - Thoughts and Letters
Misty awoke to a beautiful January morning. There
wasn't a cloud in the sky. Nothing could ruin Misty's perfect day. Then she thought of
Ash. Ruined. She tried not to think about him much. She looked about the sky looking for a
rain cloud to make her feel worse. She left him about one year ago. When they were to be
married, she didn't know if she could go through with it, not because she hated Ash, but
because she couldn't love him, but because she could not trust herself. She tried so hard
to resist running, but there was no choice.
"Misty, are you awake?" an British voice spoke.
That was Misty's new British friend, Becca. Actually, she wasn't
British, just British born, but lived most her life in America. Her parents had jobs in
England and her grandparents, who looked too young to be grandparents anyway, owned a bed
& breakfast. Becca was just as tall as Misty but she was two years younger, Ash's age.
Becca was had blond hair and blue eyes. She seemed as if she had a crush every two
minutes. Misty ignored that though. They were good friends now, Misty was like a part of
Becca's family.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Misty responded, "come in."
"So, are you really going to leave and see Ash, or what?"
Becca beckoned to know.
Misty had told Becca of Ash and how she left him. Becca was the first
friend to come into Misty's life in her new stage of life. She had to tell her new friend
of all her problems so that they could share secrets and be normal helpful friends for
each other.
"I still don't know. I can't just pick up where we left off,"
Misty explained.
"Well, why don't we go get breakfast and spend the day
shopping," Becca's voice changed back to her American voice.
"Alright, and you're speaking American English again," Becca
tried to speak the way the British do because she'll be living there.
"Right, anyway, what do you want, pancakes or tea and
biscuit?" Becca asked again in British.
"Tea and biscuit. Oh and you're starting to sound rich
again," Misty started with her Britsh accent.
Becca's family was really rich. Misty liked the way she could spend
money on things no matter what it cost. 'It was always more fun with Ash, though.' she
said to herself. She headed down stairs after dressing up.
Misty and Becca went to the nearest college in their area. She had
trouble understanding the teachers since she didn't learn much in English in Japan, much
less British English. She didn't enjoy it as much as she did with Ash though. She would
constantly draw little pictures in her notebook of things that reminded her of Ash.

Becca and Misty spent their day being lost in
Harrod's, they had and expensive twenty dollar lunch, then finally ended with a nice sunny
walk back to the bed and breakfast. Misty had bought lots of stuff guys would normally
wear. Ash. She thought silently until dinner time. She hated the way she clung onto things
that bothered her. She couldn't help it though, she loved Ash.
After a great supper and a great move into a larger room so that Misty
and Becca could be roommates, the two spent the night talking.
"You haven't shown me one picture of Ash in the whole time you've
been here," Becca complained.
"Fine, here," Misty handed Becca Ash's picture when it was
taken when they left each other pictures at the end of their pokemon journey.
"Isn't he much taller than this?" Becca asked puzzled.
"Oh, that's the picture of him at the end of our Pokemon
journey," Misty said in reply.
Becca was also a pokemon trainer. Her only pokemon was an Eevee and a
Pikachu.
"Well, at least he's doing well," Becca stated uncomfortably.
Misty satyed silent and stared out her window. It was peaceful that
night. She wondered what Ash was doing at that time. He was probably enjoying another
girl's breakfast. She blocked that out of her mind, it was daytime there and Ash wouldn't
do such a thing until night. She blocked that out of her mind too. Ash would never turn
his back on Misty. She looked farther into the sky and wondered if Ash was thinking of her
right now. She wanted to see Ash so badly. Becca held out a phone.
"What?" Misty asked as if she were irritated.
"Call him," Becca commanded.
"I don't know his number anymore," Misty stated in
depression.
"Write him," Becca held out a sheet of paper and a pen.
"Fine," Misty gave up arguing and started to write.

By the 1:00 AM, Misty had written about fifty letters, now on the floor
and crumpled. She looked around the floor, knowing that this had to be the letter. She
glanced at it carefully and read it aloud:
Dear Ash,
I know I left you a
long time ago. I'm so sorry I did that. I went to Europe to try to forget about you and
all my problems. Every time I tried, I always wondered how you would react to the sights.
I miss you Ash. I've missed you every second of my life. I can't keep all my promises to
you, but I might be coming back. Maybe, we can be together again. I love you Ash Ketchum,
I will always love you.
Misty Lynn Waterflower
She felt tears run down her eyes and onto the paper.
Becca was behind her.
"He'll love it," Becca whispered.
Misty jumped, "OH, uh, yeah I bet he will."
Misty looked over her letter once more. Then, Misty and Becca hit the
pillows and waited until morning to mail the letter to Japan. To Ash.

That Friday, Misty and Becca ran to the post office
that morning. It was about one mile away. When they got there they were huffing and
puffing their way in to the place.
"Are.. you.. going.. to.. mail.. it.. now," Becca managed to
say.
Misty only nodded and dropped the envelope into the box. She then felt
a small tingling inside of her. A message, or something, telling her to do what she said
she would do.
Misty announced with great energy, "I'm going home, Becca."
Becca's face lit up and both knew that they were packing to head off to
see Ash.
When they got home they ate a small lunch and started packing. Misty
started to write another letter to Ash saying she was coming home and the plane which she
was coming on. She had made arrangements for two one way tickets to Japan. She and Becca
spent the day packing. Becca had already asked her parents, they knew of Misty's dilema
and they decided that Misty would also need another friend.
The two spent the whole day packing and gettong ready. Misty packed all
their clothes, belongings, and the rest of her belongings into two suitcases. The last
thing she packed was her carry on bag. It contained a small amount of cosmetics and
clothes. Most of all, though, it had Ash's picture in it. By tommorrow morning Misty and
Becca were heading to see Ash.
Pika's Prints: Misty's finally leaving. We're going to see Ash. Don't
forget Ash's side of the story.
