It has been one year since Misty left Ash so they are Ash-20 and Misty-22.
Chapter Two - Nightmares and Dreams
Becca and Misty stepped onto the plane after saying good-bye to all their friends. Misty felt a small amount of excitement in her. She went back to think of her letter she wrote to Ash to tell him she was coming. She wrote it all so fast, she wondered if it was legible or not. She thought long and hard and she remembered what she wrote:
Dear Ash my love,
I'm writing to tell you that I am really coming this time. I leave Saturday the 29th of
January, at 5:30 PM. I plan to be there on Saturday at 5:00 PM February 5. I will be
making long stops in the cities. So I guess maybe I can bring you something on my way
there. I love you.

Misty wondered where the 'my love' part came in. She
had no idea why she put it there in the first place. Becca started to worry about Misty.
"Is anyone in there?" Becca asked as she knocked on Misty's
head.
Misty sanpped out, "AAG, oh , um yeah. Let's go," Misty
commanded.
The two stepped in the plane and within the hour the plane was moving.
Misty could barely feel the plane move at all. She felt the same tingling feeling she
always did when she thought of Ash. This time, though, it was different, more happy. She
glanced out the window and around the airfield. She wanted to go and fly the whole thing
all the way to Ash's house at break-neck speed. Misty looked around. They were sitting in
first class. Everyone around her looked very rich, Misty was now in her blouse and
mini-skirt. She again glanced around noticing that every woman wore heavy amounts of
jewelry.
"I'm back." Becca said as she plopped back down, "We're
having some roast for dinner,"
"Great, I'm really hungry," Misty replied.
"Hey, look it's a computer built in to the tray table," Becca
announced.
"Neat, maybe I can e-mail Ash," Misty then felt very
depressed.
She started to open her e-mail server. She found that her messages had
totaled up to only ten in three weeks. She looked at the sender's name, nine of them were
from Ash. She began to drift off again. She read each message as if she were in a dream.
She read each message slowly. She saw Ash typing each message in her mind.
"Excuse me, miss," the flight attendant spoke.
"Oh, sorry," the attendant placed the plate down, "Thank
you," Misty said gleefully, and the attendant walked on down the aisle.
"Wow, he's like sent you three messages in a week, what a
guy," Becca said dreamily.
"Hold it, he's my boyfriend. Better yet my fiance," Misty
rebuked.
"Only a joke Misty. Besides, you dumped him remember," Becca
said proudly.
"Dumped isn't the word. And he'll probably ask me to marry him
once we get there," Misty still felt she didn't know Ash long enough to actually
marry him. She hoped she'd be prepared for whatever the woruld threw at her. She wanted to
live the world as it was meant to be lived. She looked out the window in short glances as
she ate silently.

Misty and Becca finally arrived in sunny Miami, FL.
They decided that since they would be staying the next two days and leaving Monday night,
they decided to get a beach hotel. It was very beautiful. There was a quiet breeze always
blowing through the window. The beach, however, was loaded with people. Becca and Misty
decided to go for a nice dip in the water. Yet neither of them knew how warm the water was
and how nice it was after a nice cool breeze. They spent most of their first day at the
beach and the last few hours shopping.
Misty still wanted to get someting for Ash. So, the next day, they
arrived at the nearest clothing store in the mall.
"So, what do you think we should get, um... Misty?" Becca
looked around for Misty. She was standing at the nearest pokeball seller.
"Misty, come on. Ash doesn't need ordinary pokeballs," Becca
stated.
"Well, okay. Then we might as well get him some Pokemon stuff here
in America," Misty went on.
"How about this ring?" Misty asked as they passed the jewelry
store.
The two looke at each other, giggled, and ran inside. In about ten
minutes, they came out with two small bags of jewelry. They waltzed right on through the
rest of the mall and until dinner.
They wanted to have some nice extravagant food that night. It felt kind
of nice being rich. Misty then looked at another table, it started to remind her of the
time Ash and herself went to the restaurant. She noticed how the couples around them loved
each other so much. She was seeing now. She felt so jealous of what they had. Then she
noticed a ring on a woman's finger kissing another man. Then she started to cringe at the
thought of Ash. She felt like running back to Japan by herself and then kissing him all
over. She felt like screaming for some dumb reason she doesn't even know. She calmed down
and noticed the meal in front of her. She thought to herself as she ate in silence.
"Well, we finished packing way ahead of schedule, so since I have
a deck of cards, let's play!" Becca exclainmed as they waited at the airport.
"No, not right now," Misty said in a quiet tone.
"Misty, we'll be there," Becca spoke in a more English tone
that before.
"Becca, you don't know what it's like do you? Losing someone you
love," Misty complained.
"Actually, once my old boyfriend and I went to a nice dinner. When
he was on his way home after taking me home, he was killed in a car accident," She
explained.
Misty felt something powerful strike her. She then thought that maybe
Ash would have died, too. Maybe he was in the hospital, then he'd die before she could get
there. Misty dropped to her knees, shaking her head, tears coming out of her eyes. She
felt a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sure he's not dead, he still loves you, he won't leave,"
Becca comforted as if she knew what happened.
Misty only nodded. She could still hear the voices in her head telling
her to move. Misty then heard screams in her mind. She closed her eyes. She opened them
and noticed she was in line to board the plane.
As the plane took off, Misty had quickly fallen
asleep. She began to dream.
She was standing in a field full of beautiful flowers, she saw Ash
running toward her with open arms. They hugged each other it was a dream come true. She
felt instinct take over as she leaned in to kiss him then, he turned into a horrible
beast. It roared at her, and again, instinct took over. She ran as fast as she could
running deep inside the darkness. Images of cloaked people surrounded her. Their eyes
glowed red. They were chanting her name. They then picked her up and brought her to the
master. It's eyes glowed with fire, it grabbed it's hood and uncovered itself, and there
it was, Ash's face. It stared at Misty then spoke to her. 'I do not know you.' It grinned
in great pleasure and pointed at a head rest. Misty's head was laid on it. She saw her
executioner, it was the judge, Ash. It smiled evily at her, lifted his axe, then....
She awakend. She gasped almost choking herself. She was sweating horribly. Her heart was ponding fast. She could feel it, almost ready to explode. She shivered and quickly went back to sleep.

The next few days went by quickly. They stopped only
once more in San Francisco, California. Then on Saturday, the attendant announced that
they would be landing soon and that the seatbelts were to be fastened. Becca was sitting
there trying to memorize the rest of the language while perfecting the American form at
the same time. Misty had just awoke and was quick to completely wake up. She looked out
the window. It seemed so different and yet so familiar at the same time. She wondered if
Ash had changed. She felt the plane land on the runway. She felt a small smile light up on
her face.
Misty finally got off the plane. Then immediately she noticed Ash. She
ran right up to him and hugged him. She quickly felt tears stream down her face. She
looked into Ash who had small droplets form near his eyes. She heard him say one thing her
reply was:
"I will marry no one else. Yes."
