It has been one year since Misty left Ash so they are Ash-20 and Misty-22.

Chapter Three - I Do

It was a beautiful Satuday morning. Birds chirped and kids played in the early morning daylight. Misty woke up in Ash's arms that morning. Becca, Misty's new friend from Britain, has occupied a guest room for the time being. The only thing different about today is....
"ASH, MISTY WAKE UP! IT'S YOUR WEDDING DAY!!!!!!" Ash's mom screamed into the loudspeaker.
The two scrambled to get up. In seconds, they dressed up, rushing across the room at break neck speed. They then looked at each other and then they noticed that they were wearing the other's clothes. They quickly switched and ran downstairs. The flew into their chairs, wolfed down theire breakfast, and got the wedding clothes. They hadn't noticed that the hat stand had fallen over and they tripped on the carpet.
"The wedding isn't until 6:00 tonight. You've got another ten hours," Ash's mom told them.
They brushed themselves off. They were about to bring their things upstairs when they bumped into Ash's dad.
"Wedding clothes.. HUH!! DID I OVER SLEEP??!! OH NOOOOOO!!!!!" Mr. Ketchum screamed.
"Dad? Are you alive? It's 8:00 and.."
"WHAT!!! NO!! I MISSED IT!!!!!!!!" Mr. Ketchum screamed again.
"It's 8:00 AM. We just brought the clothes down here. We were about to put these things on my, er, um our room. But, if it cures you, we'll leave them here," Ash said sarcasticly.
Ash and Misty put their things on the couch neatly and left Ash's dad standing in the hallway, stiff as a rock.

"When's Brock getting here, Ash?" Misty asked.
"Soon, unless he's drooling over a girl he met on the plane before our rehearsal yesterday," Ash joked.
"You think he's matured by now?" Lily said.
They turned around, "I think that you're the most beautiful person in the world!" Brock said in that dreamy voice of his.
"Brock, you are staring at my sister Lily," Misty introduced.
Lily stood there stunned. "Hey, Misty, how much you wanna bet he rolls his tounge out," Ash joked.
Brock began to breathe hard. *POW* Lily slammed Brock into the pavement.
"I hope he bleeds to death," Lily stomped off and into her car.
    "She dumped me," Brock crackled.
He plodded into the car. "Don't worry, Brock. Where we're going, there'll be plenty of girls that'll dump you," Ash joked once more.

Ash and Misty went over to the church to get ready. Ash's parents were there as well, along with Misty's sisters.
"Hey, dad, is it bad luck to see my bride before the wedding?" Ash asked.
"It's not even before the wedding, it's only two o'clock," Mr. Ketchum explained.
"Oh yeah, I meant to ask you, what happened to Misty's parent's?" Mr. Ketchum asked.
"Well, I'm kinda vivid on the topic, but she told me a while ago. Anyway, I think after Mrs. Waterflower died one year after giving birth to Misty. Her father killed himself after two months of torture," Ash explained.
Mr. Ketchum looked sorry for asking. "You're mother and I will give away Misty then, right?" he asked.
"Yeah dad. Anyway, gotta fly," Ash ran out of the building.

The whole church was packed full. Ash's old aquaintances, gym leaders and friends, have come to see him and his beautiful bride. He could see all his friends waiting for the signal to go. Ash waited at the altar, watching the people go by. The groomsmen and the bridesmaids went by Brock and Violet, Chris and Ami, Brandon and Daisy, and finally Andy and Becca. The Best Man was Gary Oak, and the Maid of Honor was Lily Waterflower. For this special marriage, the Best Pokemon was Pikachu, and the Pokemon of Honor was Togepi. Then came Misty. She was dressed in an elegant white gown. She walked proudly down the aisle. She stood inbetween Ash's parents. They kissed her on the cheek as Ash took her to the altar. They made it to the altar with no tripping, no jokes, or any other disturbances. They smiled at each other.
"We are gathered here today to join these two, Ash Christopher Ketchum and Misty Lynn Waterflower,  in holy wedlock," the priest announced.
"If there is anyone who objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace,"
Ash closed his eyes, he remembered the dream the he had the first time they decided to get married.
"Well, shall we get down to business then people," the priest whispered.
The rest of the ceremony went well, until now.
"...For richer or for poorer," the priest spoke. Misty stood silent. She began to cry, she had no reason to. She knew this was the happiest day of her life. She didn't know what to do. "Until death do you part?" Misty began to cry with small bursts of tears. She was afraid of that one little thing called death. She was completely petrified at the part of either her or Ash dying, not being able to see the other ever again.
"I... I-I do," she held back all her tears.
"You may now kiss the bride," The priest said.
Misty felt all her emotions go, she let all of it go. She waited and she felt something touch her lips, something warm, comforting, and wonderful. She woke up back into reality, people cheered and screamed and whistled. Everyone flocked behind the newly weds. They smiled at their friends, Pikachu and Togepi hopped into the limo while wating for Ash and Misty. The priest approached them.
"May I attend the reception?" he asked.
Misty giggled and nodded. "Get in the limo then," She laughed.
Ash and Misty got inside and they drove away, off to the reception, off into a new life.

Pika' Prints: Finally, and it's about time, there's nothing really exciting about this story. However, this is a gateway to about three or four more stories in this series. I hope you love it. -Pikachu
