Well, what can I say? Squires aren't the greatest job in the game, but they'll get you by in the first few battles. You'll want to learn Gained JP up and Move +1 before you move on to bigger and better things. You also should get the Squire to level 8 if possible and learn as much as possible until you feel it's time to move on to a knight or monk.
