VICTOR ALVAREZ: Good evening everyone and welcome to your FWF Boundary Tour Recap. Tonight I have results from the much anticipated event at the Hara Arena in Dayton. Let's get right to the action.
[CUT TO: Sardonic and Blazer exchanging heavy blows in the center of the ring.]
VICTOR ALVAREZ: In our opening contest, it was Sardonic taking on Blazer. The action was hot and intense as both men took each other to their very limits. This match was especially important to Sardonic who was performing in front of his hometown. However, the home field advantage did not really seem to figure into the match itself. Sardonic's attack consisted of very basic manuevers. He was hoping to wear down Blazer with pure wrestling. However, it was not meant to be as the tides quickly turned in Blazer's favor. Blazer used a combination of rest holds and pure power to soften up to hometown favorite. Blazer locked on the Demon Storm and got Sardonic to pass out to get the victory.
[CLIP: Sardonic unconscious.]
VICTOR ALVAREZ: Next we were scheduled to see Helix take on "Rage O' Fire" Jared Wells. Scheduled being the key word. Watch this....
[CUT TO: Video]
TONY ROSS: Helix is in the ring awaiting Wells...Oh wait!!!
JAKE SHADES: IN COMING!!!!!!!!
TONY ROSS: It's Black Cat!!!! Black Cat with a steel chair nails Helix in the back of the head!!!! He grabs him....REVERSE SUPLEX!!!!
JAKE SHADES: Oh, Helix is not going to be to happy about this...
TONY ROSS: Black Cat runs off.....Helix gets up and shakes out the cob webs. He gives chase to Black Cat!!!
[END CLIP]
VICTOR ALVAREZ: And so, the match was cancelled. Our next match saw Michael "The Dragon" Kerrigan taking on Golem. I am afraid that this match was all Kerrigan as he disposed of Golem in under five minutes. Kerrigan locked on the Dragon Sleeper to get the victory. After the match, FWF Vice-President/WAR President Eddie McCann was seen standing in the aisle. Kerrigan spotted him, but the two kept their distance. The next bout saw Henry Goldwire taking on Korean sensation, Sage. Both of these men went all out. They fought both in and out of the ring. The ending to this was most unusual....take a look....
[CLIP: Sage is down in the corner and Goldwire is moving towards him.]
TONY ROSS: The lights may be dimming on Sage in a few seconds...
JAKE SHADES: OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TONY ROSS: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! DID YOU SEE THAT?????
JAKE SHADES: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!
TONY ROSS: Was that a fireball?? Goldwire tried to flame Sage!!! Goldwire is shocked that he missed. Sage with a roll up, 1...2...3!!!! Sage with the victory!!!! And Goldwire is stunned!!!
[END CLIP]
VICTOR ALVAREZ: Never in my years of broadcasting have I seen something quite like that. I have to wonder exactly what Henry Goldwire was thinking. Had he actually burned Sage, we could have been looking at a career ending situation. No doubt these two will hook up again in the near future. The next match was a special six-man tag team challenge pitting the Birds of Prey, Shrike, Falcon and Condor against the Mercenaries, Steve Lewiston, Rob Anthony and Jean Rabesque. This match was quite exciting as the momentum swung back and forth. [STILL SHOTS: Condor with a plancha on Anthony, Rabesque with a reverse chinlock on Falcon.] The match seemed to boil down to exactly who wanted it more...
[CUT TO: Video]
TONY ROSS: Falcon introduces Rabesque to the steel steps. Shrike dropkicks Anthony. Lewiston has Condor in a surfboard submission on the far outside part of the ring area.
JAKE SHADES: Falcon is climbing the ropes....
TONY ROSS: Shrike lifts Anthony up on his shoulders....PREY '99!!!!!! Falcon with the cover!!! 1...2...3!!!!!!
[CUE UP: "Millenium" by Killing Joke]
TONY ROSS: The Birds of Prey have won it!!! LOOK!!! It's Black Cat!!!! He's comes out of the crowd!!!! He nails Rabesque with a chair!!! OH MY!!!
JAKE SHADES: Second time tonight...
TONY ROSS: Rabesque meets the ringpost!!!! Black Cat stomps away.....Lewiston runs over and Black Cat flees!!!
[END CLIP]
VICTOR ALVAREZ: I have to wonder just who is this Black Cat and why has he singled out Helix and now Rabesque? Perhaps we'll find out at Battlenet. The next match saw "The Franchise" Codie Thompson taking on Billy Matthews. Thompson fought the match like a man possessed. It was quite clear that he was attempting to prove that he is indeed the only true "Franchise" in *Professional Wrestling. Thompson spent a lot of time concentrating on Matthews' neck. Half way through the match, Matthews snapped. He made the match into an all out war using tables, chairs and anything else that wasn't nailed down. Thompson seemed to enjoy the EXTREME turn of events but was unable to really capitalize. Matthews connected with a reverse DDT and a shooting star press to get the victory. That brings us to the main event. Pop Culture's Superhero taking on Noble Kale in a non-title match. Noble Kale was the first to hit the ring. He was followed by Hillbilly Ted. Kale sat in the corner of the ring awaiting PCS. The marketing Icon walked to the ring with the Lost Hanson in tow. PCS was flaunting his gold proudly and a big Mountain Dew logo on his tights. PCS entered the ring and smiled brightly at Kale which only seemed to enrage Kale. As the bell rang, Kale pulled himself to his feet and stared at PCS.
VICTOR ALVAREZ: [con't] much like a bull seeing red, he charged PCS. The blows were fast and furious at first. It took quite a bit of effort for PCS to withstand Kale's attack. PCS connected with a textbook Northern Lights Suplex to slow Kale down. PCS then took to the air and connected with a springboard leg lariat. Moments later, Kale dumped PCS to the outside and the fight was on at ringside. Both men spent a few moments brawling in the crowd before they actually made their way back to the ring. Hillbilly Ted pulled out a television set out from under the ring. He set it up in the corner. The Lost Hanson came over to try to stop him but was met with a vicious chokeslam on the concrete floor.
[CUT TO: Video]
JAKE SHADES: Do you think the television is there so PCS can see the ad he cut last week for the Super Bowl?
TONY ROSS: Somehow, I doubt it....Kale with a cornerwhip...OH MY GOD!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!! PCS's head was just drilled into the television set!!!!!
JAKE SHADES: I guess that officially makes PCS a TV star!!
TONY ROSS: PCS is out cold, Kale with the cover...1...2...3!!!!!! Kale wins it!! And PCS may need medical attention!!
[END CLIP]
VICTOR ALVAREZ: So there you have it and what a way to end the second night of the Boundary Tour. We hope you have enjoyed this special presentation. Until next time, I am Victor Alvarez...
