Nashville House Card

Here are the results from the house card held here at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee:

PEACEMAKER vs. BIG HILLBILLY TED:
These two men made their FWF debuts tonight, and Big Hillbilly Ted clearly dominated the action. The Peacemaker made a fired up entrance and got the fans going, but the huge 7 foot 400 pounder from Arkansas made sure that Peacemaker never had a chance. Ted put a merciful end to the match when he hit a monster chokeslam. For some reason, Blackcat then hit the ring and the crowd erupted into boos. The lights went out suddenly and when they came back on a minute later, Blackcat and Peacemaker were nowhere to be found. Big Hillbilly Ted was left standing in the ring with a stupefied look on his face.
WINNER: Big Hillbilly Ted at 6:02

GOLEM vs. JEFFREY GOINES:
Golem has been a shocking slump as of late after hanging around the top of the FWF for a long time. He came in to this match set to turn his career around, and that's exactly what he did. Goines never had a prayer in this match as Golem viciously ripped into him and delivered a savage beating, probably out of anger about his win-loss record. Near the end, Goines made a slight comeback, as he countered a standing ankle lock with a reverse spinning heel kick. Just then, a huge muscular man in a mask ran down to ringside and Golem began distracting the referee. The masked man grabbed Goines and hit a huge powerbomb, and put Goines right through the ring, literally! The masked man dived into the hole as the ref turned around, and Golem pulled the limp Goines out of the hole and hit a backdrop driver, followed by his "Shredded Nerves", his Firebird Splash from the top rope. Golem then got the 1-2-3 and grabbed the mic from Paul Kramer and announced "The New Age of Golem". The masked man then came from under the ring, and a humungously fat man came down the aisle. Golem then introduced them as Scorpius and Diablo the Brothers of the Scarred Path. They then followed Golem out of the ring with their heads hung in reverance to Golem, as if he were a god.
WINNER: Golem at 8:15

CARNIVORE vs. CACTUS LATCH:
The newcomer Carnivore, coming off a huge battle with Nevada Smith on the last Battleground, was still nursing his wounds from that match as he stood in the ring. Cactus Latch was announced, but a man in an oversized boxing robe and hood came down to the ring. The man in the robe then sprayed some kind of chemical in Carnivore's eyes. The robe came off and the crowd exploded as Nevada Smith was revealed. Smith took the mic and then said, "I visited YOUR hell, now WELCOME to MINE!!" Smith then put the boots to the face of the writhing Carnivore before security came down and managed to pull Smith off.
WINNER: Carnivore by Forfeit

MIDDLE AGED AND CRAZY vs. THE BROTHERS OF THE SCARRED PATH:
Berserker Dave, who was duped into being Codie Thompson's replacement at the last Battleground against Jared Wells and Sean Edmunds, stood strongly by the side of his brother Richard as they took on the team that was seen earlier in the evening, Scorpius and Diablo. The inexperience of the Brothers of the Scarred Path, and it is not known if they are real brothers or not, showed as the definitely real brothers of Berserker Dave and Richard Allen used teamwork and old-fashioned brawling to get the win. Berserker Dave sealed the victory with a DDT from the rope on Scorpius.
WINNERS: Middle Aged and Crazy at 7:35

NEVADA SMITH vs. "ANTI-CHRIST" XAVIER OSBOURNE:
What occured during this match could not be called wrestling, it was more like an unadulterated blood-letting. Osbourne took the beating of his life in this match as Nevada Smith basically revelled in beating the life from him. The crowd loved every secod of it and after Smith was finally done, he hit Osbourne with the Devil's Drop powerbomb rollup for the 1-2-3. Smith then yelled a few choice words at Osbourne's unconscious body and then departed the ring on his Harley Fat Boy..
WINNER: Nevada Smith at 9:23

FIRST BLOOD MATCH CODIE THOMPSON vs. BILLY MATTHEWS:
Two men who have not grown to love one another engaged in a special match where the first man to bleed loses. Thompson just dumped his entire Crue on the last Battleground, and seemed focused only on Matthews and not on the takeover of the FWF. Matthews was just as up to the task as Thompson. The match stayed clean for the most part, but tempers flared and the action went to the outside. Thompson tried to open Matthews up on the outside, but he couldn't get the job done. Thompson then pulled out a small chain that he had in his trunks and tried to use it on Matthews, but Matthews knocked it out of Thompson's hand and then DDT'd Thompson onto the chain, thus opening up Thompson and giving the win to Matthews. Thompson then attacked Matthews with the chain after he recovered and the two brawled back to the locker rooms.
WINNER: Billy Matthews at 14:27

MICHAEL KERRIGAN vs. WAYNE ROBERTS:
These two told the fans of the wrestling world that they were going to put on one hell of a wrestling match, and that's what they did. The fight was action-packed, with dazzling aerial moves by Kerrigan, and the stunning technical prowess of Roberts keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. Neither man could get an advantage over each other and there were several 2 counts. As soon as Kerrigan hit a death-defying moonsault on Roberts, the bell rang, signifying the time limit was up. Kerrigan helped Roberts up and the two stared at each other before leaving the ring in opposite directions.
WINNER: Time Limit Draw 30:00

EXTREMELY BI-SEXUAL BEAU MICHAELS vs. HENRY GOLDWIRE:
Goldwire coming off a loss to National Champion Pop Culture's Superhero at the last Battleground seemed to be in a funk, and it showed in his wrestling as he didn't put forth much of an effort. Michaels managed to frustrate Goldwire every step of the way with taunting and lewd gestures. The match went to the outside and all of a sudden, a male fan at ringside began to wink at Goldwire. Goldwire got angry with the man and started arguing with him. The fan then grabbed Goldwire's crotch and yanked real hard and Goldwire fell to the ground screaming in pain. Michaels thanked the fan by French kissing him. Michaels then threw Goldwire onto the timekeeper's table and dug under the ring and pulled out a box. Michaels then pulled a vibrator out of the box and stuffed it into Goldwire's mouth. Michaels then tossed the sexual enhancer to the fan who helped him, who was escorted out by security. Michaels then got up on the table and hit the Groan of Pleasure through the table. He then dumped Goldwire back into the ring and hit the Groan of Pleasure again for the 3 count. Michaels then began parading around the ring when all of a sudden, Michael Kerrigan came charging through the crowd with a baseball bat. Kerrigan hit the ring from behind and took Michaels' legs out with the bat and then started choking him with it. Kerrigan then grabbed the house mic, "So, Michaels, how does it FEEL!? You stinking COWARD, I'm not done with you yet!!" Kerrigan then whipped the mic into the crowd and stormed away from the ring to the cheers of the Nashville crowd.
WINNER: "Extremely Bi-Sexual" Beau Michaels at 10:20

COPYCAT vs. JARED WELLS:
This was most definitely a huge match as two bitter rivals from the past locked it up in battle. The match went in and out of the ring and back and forth as Wells' fellow D-xxxers Sean Edmunds and Bytch watched from ringside. Wells took control and was setting Copycat up for the Rage Bomb when the Black Cat jumped out of the crowd. Edmunds spotted him and began chasing him around the ring. Copycat then hit Wells with a low blow and both men fell from the top rope. Bytch got up on the apron and seemed ready to enter the ring when a woman wearing street clothes with ice-blue hair approached the ring. It was Icekold, Copycat's valet who had been injured for awhile. She pulled Bytch off the apron and spun her around and hit an Ice Breaker on Bycth on the floor. Meanwhile, in the ring, Copycat unloads on Wells with a pair of brass knuckles and then stuffed them in Wells' trunks. Edmunds saw what was happening and hesitated, just enough for Black Cat to shove him from behind into a ring post. Copycat then hit the Cat's Meow elbow on Wells and got the incredibly tainted win. Not only has Copycat and Blackcat started a war with the Mercenaries, but D-xxx may now be at their throats as well.
WINNER: Copycat at 12:57

MAIN EVENT NATIONAL TAG TEAM TITLE SHOT TRIANGLE ELIMINATION MATCH
THE MERCENARIES vs. THE NATION OF INNOVATION vs. THE BIRDS OF PREY:
The winners of this match will get a shot at Seek and Destroy at the next Battleground in Atlanta, and problems abounded from the start. The NOI could not get things together in the ring and continued to argue and bicker vehemently. Kirk Williams had enough and took off from the ring at around the 10 minute mark, shortly followed by Brian Taylor. It was just the Mercs and the Birds and the Mercs did not look to be in this match. The Birds used smooth teamwork and effortless aerial manuevers to wear down Rob Anthony. Anthony suddenly gained an advantage and this prompted the Black Cat to run to the ring. Steve Lewiston lost control and went out on the floor after Black Cat and ripped his mask off. Under the mask was Peacemaker, looking very dizzy, who Black Cat must have carried to the back in the opening match. As the ref watched this, Copycat the enters the ring and nails Anthony with a surprise DDT. Condor didn't know what happened, as he was watching the events on the outside, and he tagged Falcon in and they hit the Prey Sley for the win and the shot at Seek and Destroy. The Cats escaped the ring, making a huge impact on tonight's card in Nashville.
WINNERS: The Birds of Prey at 17:57
