Freedom Hall - Promoter Scott Malec
Here are the results from the house card held here at the Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky:
THE ORIGINATORS vs. THE BROTHERS OF THE SCARRED PATH:
BIG HILLBILLY TED vs. "MAIN EVENT" HOLLYWOOD HAYES:
The monstrous farm boy from Arkansas was out for blood and a
win in this match as he took to Hayes with mostly brawling
tactic. Ted looked to be on a mission to destroy the
self-proclaimed former movie star from California. After Ted
was done toying with Hayes, he nailed him with a monster
chokeslam to claim the big win.
WINNER: Big Hillbilly Ted at 5:26
"ANNHILIATOR" KEVIN OSBOURNE vs. SHRIKE
Both of these men came into the match fully confident of
their abilities, and neither man backed down an inch.
Osbourne had a weight advantage over Shrike, and the member
of the Birds of Prey turned this into an advantage for him
buy confusing Osbourne with a series of high flying moves.
Osbourne rebounded with raw power and mat skills, and Shrike
showed his resiliency by kicking out of several pin
attempts. The tide turned several times after this, but
Shrike, who has been on a good win streak, surprised
Osbourne with a missile dropkick after Osbourne missed a
legdrop from the second turnbuckle.
WINNER: Shrike at 11:52
JONATHAN NASH vs. GREG:
Greg, the unorthodox 7 footer walked into this match as if
he expected a cakewalk. Little did he know that Nash had no
plans of allowing that to happen. Nash frustrated Greg every
step of the way by using his brains. Nash did not use a
frontal attack, but evasive maneuvers that threw Greg off
his game plan. Greg lost his temper and the fight went to
the outside, where Greg promptly missed a flying axehandle
from the apron and hit his chest on the railing. Nash
immediately dumped him into the ring and somehow managed to
hit the big man with a Northern Lights Suplex with a bridge,
which amazed the crowd. Nash scored the impressive victory
with the 1-2-3.
WINNER: Jonathan Nash at 8:04
JUSTIN AYERS vs. MILAN CHINASKI:
Chinaski was standing in the ring waiting for Ayers, all the
while arguing and goofing off with his manager Pip, the
Mighty Squeak. Ayers didn't come to the ring after the 10
count, and Chinaski was awarded the match by forfeit, and
then grabbed the mike and very sarcastically talked about
what a competitor he is and how badly he wanted a match. He
then quickly de-pantsed Pip, exposing his mini-BVDs, and
Chinaski left the ring to howling laughter.
WINNER: Milan Chinaski by forfeit
THE NATION OF INNOVATION vs. THE WAR MACHINE:
WAR Machine is the FWF's newest tag team, but they really
didn't get their first tag team test because the NOI's Kirk
Williams showed up for the match by himself, and was without
his partner, Brian Taylor. It is well known that these two
have been having serious problems, and it may have
culiminated here in Louisville. Williams never had a chance
against Michael Kerrigan and Hikaru Yoshida, who looked like
they never took a break from teaming with each other. The
WAR Machine took the victory when they hit Williams with
their Superbomb, a double powerbomb from the top rope.
WINNERS: The WAR Machine at 6:14
LOUISVILLE STREET FIGHT
NEVADA SMITH vs. CARNIVORE:
The crowd was ready for this one as Smith and Carnivore were
set to tangle in a Louisville Street Fight, where it's come
as you are, use whatever you want, and falls count anywhere
in the building. The match never happened because as soon as
Smith went after Carnivore in the ring, Carnivore launched a
fireball at Smith, hitting him flush in the face. Smith
resisted medical attention after writhing on the mat for
several minutes, and during this time, Carnivore left the
ring area. A badly-burned Smith was able to get up and scour
the building, but he could not locate Carnivore anywhere.
WINNER: Nevada Smith by default
MAIN EVENT
TEXAS TORNADO LUMBERJACK MATCH
JARED WELLS and SEAN EDMUNDS
vs.
CAT PACK
(w/ one Mercenary on each side of the ring ):
This match generated a ton of heat from the crowd as the
pre-match activities got intense as a shouting match erupted
between the Cats and the Mercs outside the ring. Wells and
Edmunds starting yelling at the Cats to get the match
started and they complied by attacking Degeneration XxX,
but Wells and Edmunds were ready and they rocked both Cats
right out of the ring to a Mercenary feeding frenzy. The
Cats managed to get back in after a savage beating, and
Wells and Edmunds pounded on them some more. Black Cat got
dumped out of the ring again and Rob Anthony took off after
him. Black Cat fled from Anthony, only to be blocked by
Jonathan Nash. Jean Rabesque and Steve Lewiston joined in
and surrounded him, and Copycat started yelling at the ref
about how the Mercs were not in their proper positions. As
the ref argued with Copycat, their valet Icekold entered the
ring and hit Wells with a low blow. Icekold took off towards
the back with D-XxX's valet Bytch in pursuit. As referee
William Bennett tried to pull the Mercs away from Black Cat,
Black Cat raked Jean Rabesque's eyes and grabbed his
Frontier belt off the apron. Edmunds was preoccupied with
Copycat when Black Cat drilled Wells with the belt in the
back of the head. Bennett rolled back into the ring and made
the 3 count, although he was confused as to what happened.
The Mercenaries proceeded to storm the ring, and while
Edmunds was checking on Wells, the Cats took a tremendous
beating culiminating with twin Rob Anthony powerbombs for
both Cats. FWF security broke things up as the crowd roared
their approval.
WINNERS: Black Cat and Copycat at 15:37
