Myriad Arena - Promoter Scott Malec
Here are the results of a FWF house card held here tonight at the Myriad in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:
ARCHANGEL vs. "THE CHOICE" JEREMY BRYNE:
This match featured a wide contrast of styles. Archangel
prefers to brawl, while Bryne loves the traditional side of
wrestling. The two styles clashed like oil and water and
the result was a wild brawl. The match went in and out of
the ring several times, and Archangel utilized ringside
objects to their fullest, even poking Bryne's eyes with the
ringside bell hammer. But Bryne was able to collect himself
and break Archangel down with the sweet science, and he
caught Archangel with "The Prime", a double underhook
facebuster, to secure the win.
WINNER: "The Choice" Jeremy Bryne at 12:37
THE SKY vs. COPYCAT:
The Immortal One collided with one of the craftiest and
trickiest veteran in the game in a very exciting match. The
crowd was fully behind the Sky, as Copycat has become one
of the most unpopular wrestlers in the sport. The match
started with basic wrestling moves, but escalated into a
brutal war. Copycat was opened up as Sky kicked him face
first into the ringside post and bled profusely. Everyone
thought that Copycat was down and out, that is, until Black
Cat snuck up to ringside nailed Sky in the back of the head
with a chair as the ref checked on Copycat's wound. Copycat
staggered over to Sky and made the 1-2-3 to the dismay of
the Oklahoma crowd.
WINNER: Copycat at 14:52
EXTREMELY BISEXUAL BEAU MICHAELS vs. ALISTER HAYZE:
Hayze was looking to make up for his debut loss against
Henry Goldwire and took on the amazingly controversial Beau
Michaels. Michaels played mind games and taunted Hayze
through much of the match, but the popular star from
memphis was able to fight through it and concentrate on the
task at hand, to get his first FWF win. After a series of
tide changes, Hayze hit a Russian Leg Sweep and quikly
followed it up with his Total Oblivion Bodybreaker.
Micheals seemed to enjoy having Hayze on top of him at
first, but the pain quickly set in and Michaels eventually
tapped out.
WINNER: ALISTER HAYZE at 11:41
HENRY GOLDWIRE vs. MINION:
Goldwire was high in spirits coming off his big in over
Alister Hayze, but he may have been too overconfident in
this match. He thought the new Minion would be a cakewalk,
but he was not. Minion used aerial tactics to ground
Goldwire, and after every big move, he looked towards the
heavens to see if Tom Parker approved. Minion hit the Fall
From Grace somersault senton splash for the huge win.
WINNER: Minion at 9:26
STONE WOLF vs. NEVADA SMITH:
A wrestling legend met up with the FWF's number one
contender here tonight in Oklahoma City, and this match did
not dissappoint anyone. The two wrestlers traded wrestling
moves at first, then fists and kicks started flying. The
battle spilled to the outside, but the wrestlers collected
their wits and got back into the ring before the countout
was made. After another 10 minutes of stunning action,
Kraven and Flatliner came down to ringside brandishing
bamboo canes and challenged Smith to come out after them.
Smith obliged, and followed the two Pandorians back to the
locker room. This was not smart, as Kraven, Flatliner,
Minion and Big Rodge all assaulted Smith in the back. Stone
Wolf stood in the ring frustrated as Smith was counted out.
Smith needed medical assistance to leave the arena.
WINNER: Stone Wolf by countout at 18:59
JARED WELLS vs. BIG RODGE:
The seeds were planted years ago for this match, as Wells
had never forgotten the rivalry he had with the big NEH
member from new York City. Lady Veronica was at ringside,
and for the most part id not interfere as the two wrestling
titans battled it out in the ring. Wells looked extremely
on the mark in this match, and he served up a stunning
victory over Rodge after rolling Rodge up in a small
package as Rodge was attempting to suplex Wells out of the
ring.
WINNER: "Rage o' Fire" Jared Wells at 11:17
MAIN EVENT-STEEL CAGE MATCH:
NATIONAL CHAMPION BILLY MATTHEWS AND SEAN EDMUNDS vs. CABLE
TV CHAMPION NOBLE KALE AND ISZ:
This could not be described as a wrestling match, it was
more of a blood bath. The four wrestlers used the cage to
shred each other into ribbons. All four men entered the
ring many times during the match and Willie Bennett had a
hard time keeping it under control. Big Hillbilly Ted came
down to ringside with what looked like a garden hoe from
his farm not too far down the interstate. He slid it
through the cage, but unfortunately for him, Matthews was
able to grab it and nail Isz over the head with it, scoring
the win. After the match, as Ted and Isz were arguing by
the locker room entrance and Kale lagged behind, Archangel
came from under the ring with a fire extinguisher and
sprayed Kale in the face. He then clipped Kale's knee with
the extinguisher and took off as Isz and Ted came running.
WINNERS: Billy Matthews and Sean Edmunds at 15:08
