A SPELL FOR SAFETY IN WORLD TRAVEL
The world has become a very small place in these days of swift international travel. However, so often we are troubled by concerns about a loved one while overseas. The spell below is a method of protecting a traveller while away from home and it may either be performed by the self for the self or on behalf of a loved one about to take a trip.
You will need the following items:
An orange candle
A length of fine thread copper wire (as long as your arm)
A blue bead
A neck chain or a length of leather strip
Lavender, sandalwood or lemongrass incense
The spell is to be performed on a Wednesday early in the morning, at dawn if possible. The candle and other items should be neatly placed before you. The blue bead must have an opening large enough through which to thread the chain or leather strip; this will become an amulet to be worn by the traveller.
Coil the copper wire around the candle from the base to the tip, creating a spiral design. The candle and incense can now be lit.
Holding the chain (or leather) and bead in hand recite the following:
"Little King Mercury, swift and alert, be on guard here and
watch ever vigilantly for me (or name of traveller). Bless this amulet
made in your name and let it be a stout and true guard against all malady,
hurt, fear, trial and tribulation."
Breathe upon the amulet seventeen times with your eyes closed and feel the energy of your breath grow stronger and more potent with each breath. Attempt to push the energy into the amulet. If desired the amulet may be anointed with lemongrass essential oil before being worn by the traveller.
