Many years ago, in the small village of Emberton, which lies on the West coast of the huge world of Leganga, a young boy was found near the edge of the forest beside the village, carrying a huge sword, screaming the words "Fire! Fire!". The sun was just rising at the time, and one woman heard the screaming behind her house, so she went out and brought him to her home. She and her husband asked the boy for his name, and he replied with "Firen". They were going to ask why he shouted "Fire! Fire!", but they figured he'd had a rough day, and guessed that he was actually saying "Firen! Firen!"...The answer to that question lies deep within a huge web of deceit, betrayal, love, tragedy, and blood......

Firen grew up with his adopted family in the village of Emberton. He never could recall his past, even when he tried. He liked Emberton a lot, but there was one thing he wanted more than anything...Shamra. Shamra was a young girl the same age as he was. Ever since they first met when they were only 13 years old, when Shamra moved to Emberton, they had loved one another. There was only one problem, Shamra's Dad. He was the owner of a profitable mining company in Emberton, and forbade his daughter to spend time with the "commonfolk". However, when he was out on an expedition, Firen and Shamra would spend the time together, and every night they were together, they would watch the sun set over the ocean, and hoping that maybe, just maybe, there was a chance that they could one day love one another in peace....

When Firen was 17, came the bad news. Shamra and her family were moving to a town called Richakuki, which was across Leganga, through countless forests and rivers. Her father had found a mine there, and was going to make some profit off of it. Shamra moved out then, and Firen was left all alone....

Two days after Shamra left, came something even worse. For every world, there is always a dark side, and Leganga is no different. A demonic being began to appear in Firen's nightmares, he would wake up in the morning, having an strange, eerie feeling as though they were true....

One day they became reality, a being known as the "Fire Phantom" began to terrorize Emberton, and more specifically, Firen and his family....

Firen fought the Phantom for the next few weeks, and after four major campaigns(but those are other stories) against the Phantom, finally defeated the demon, or so he thought....

Four more years past, Firen was now 22, the Phantom returned, but was different, completely. Firen knew he had destroyed it, so he knew there was more to this story. With it's new found power, the Fire Phantom sent Firen's house into flames, then proceeded to destroy the entire village. Firen chased after him, but the Phantom was on a rampage....

The Phantom continued his onslaught, burning every single one of Firen's family and friend alive, and forced Firen to watch them scream and burn alive....

There was nothing he could do to stop it, the Phantom was too experienced, and as Firen looked at his village and all the townspeople in it, he fell to his knees, laid his sword on the ground in front of him, held his arms out to his sides, looked in the sky....

While the blood from his family members rolled off his arms and hands, Firen looked at the Phantom and vowed to destroy him....

And with that, Firen got up, with sword in hand, went after the Phantom, and was stopped when the Phantom spoke the word "Shamra..". Firen continued on, and said "You lay one hand on her and I'll send you to hell where you belong!"....

The Phantom let out a loud shrieking noise, and burst into laughter, and utter the words "See you in Richakuki, son...."....

Puzzled, Firen gathered himself together, grabbed any supplies available from the burning village, sheathed his sword, and started down the long trail towards Richakuki, and knew right from the start, that this was going to be a long journey....
