Parenting Squiggle stared down at her dolls. Something had been on her mind all day. It had bothered her since yesterday, at school. She had told herself it wasn't important, but she couldn't forget about it. Squiggle decided that she had to ask Mommy about it. Mommy was smart, and she always had an answer. Squiggle put her toys down and trotted out of her room and into the living room, running what she would say through her six year old head. Mommy was there, tangled in a swarm of wires. Mommy loved machines. "Mommy?" Lucca looked up. Squiggle was standing in the doorway, her shoulder length red hair a mess. "Yes, dear?" "I have a question. I've been wondering. What's a bitch?" Lucca didn't move. She looked distressed. "Are you all right, Mommy?" Lucca forced a smile. "Um...ask Daddy. Mommy's very busy right now, okay?" Squiggle smiled. "Okay, Mommy." She scurried up the stairs to her daddy's room, her hand idly playing with one of the many pockets on her dress. The door was cracked, so she pushed it open further and stepped in. Daddy was shining one of his katanas. "Daddy?" Crono looked up. "I had a question. I asked Mommy, but she told me to ask you." Crono set his blade down and motioned for her to come in. Squiggle happily climbed into his lap. "Now, what's your question?" "What's a bitch?" Crono smiled down at her. "Did you hear that at school, Squiggle?" he asked. She nodded vigorously. Crono thought for a moment. "Aunty Marle." Squiggle thought about it, then smiled. "Thanks, Daddy!" She hopped down and ran back to her room to continue playing.
