Epona
Light in build but robust, she's a young woman with delicate feminine curves in all the right places, limbs well proportioned and firmly muscled. Hands and feet are small and graceful, echoed by the pixie-like cast to her earnest, yet perpetually distracted seeming face. Large eyes of a silvery blue hue with subtle violet shading under nondescript brows show a rather absent-minded yet friendly expression, the snub nose and high cheeks are dabbed with countless freckles. Her mouth is soft and gentle, her lips coloured a dusty rose and frequently tugged into a slight smile. Framing the refined oval of her face is short hair, the thin hazel locks have been cut rather severely. But the little silken curls that have appeared with the 'do cluster endearingly at her temples.
Epona was born and grew up in the Harper Hall; both her parents are journeyman ranked harpers. She was apprenticed at an early age and was a competant and capable student. Her talents were quickly percieved to be in the area of record keeping, archiveing and copying; she became a special apprentice to the current Archives Master. All progressed as normal until she had some seventeen turns when she was sent to Fort Weyr along with a contingent of other Harpers for the First Weyr Day celebrations.
On the sands of Fort Weyr hatching grounds, there was a nice little clutch of some eight eggs hardening. The Weyr was not officially Searching outside their own lower caverns but one blue by the name of Sheipath took enough of a likeing to Epona that she found herself wearing the white Candidate's knot.
It was only a sevenday before hatching day arrived, and once on the sands, Epona found herself entranced by the very first dragonet to hatch. The tubby little green knew exactly where she was going and moments later, Epona and Xeixath became the first weyrling pair of that clutch.
Weyrlinghood was conventional and unremarkable, Epona and Xeixath being neither exceptionally good or exceptionally bad at anything. They graduated to the 'Policeing' wing, Epona calling on her background as a harper to help adjudicate troubles.
A number of turns later, Epona requested a transfer to Xanadu Weyr. Reasons? None were given. It seemed to be a question of whim although the more perceptive recognised a desire to escape from certain other members of Fort Weyr who did not get along too well with the somewhat odd pair.

Lush waves of apple envelope this dragon's soft curves, spring's warmth bright as it rises over a padded neck dappled by ripples of primrose sunlight. Hints of lilac and snow indolently 'twine over eye-lobes, misty innocence clouding around large eyes before drifting towards a rounded muzzle. Clumps of sage mottle over stout wing muscles, gathering at the base of the wingbones before growing up their length. The darker shade crowds, invading the edges of the sails before dissipating over liquid pastel. Ivory scatters, pale tears scattering 'cross the shadow of the wings, as if tossed by the winds towards a gently curvacious rump. A hint of jade - thin veins of the incandescant hue - is scattered overall, brightest 'cross the plump apple tail and reaching towards a tip brushed with gold.
