Dungeons & Dragons Player Character Profiles

I am the DM in a campaign currently set in Ravenloft. I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons for many years, and DMing for a few. I love the game, it's a welcome break from the real world once a week.

To those of you with no experience with the game, here is a simple description:

It is a game of imagination. There is no board, you play with your mind.
It's set in a roughly medieval time period where elves, dwarves, and dragons are common.
You and your friends make up characters which you have total control over. If you decide to jump off of a high cliff, it's entirely up to you (although that might ruin your fun, being dead and all).
A person (the DM) describes to you the situation you are in (traveling down a country road, fighting an evil magic-user, or in the bathroom taking a leak).
When given a situation, YOU decide what to do. Sometimes you have to roll the dice to see if your course of action is successful or not.
THAT'S IT!

And now a few disclaimers.

You do NOT dress up in robes, go out in the woods and act out your adventures.
The is NO worshipping of the devil or demons.
There are NO sacrifices of any kind (animal or otherwise).
If your character dies, you do NOT have to kill yourself.
This game in NO way warps your mind any more that violence on TV or in movies does. In my opinion, if you kill yourself because your D&D character died, then your mind was warped to begin with.

ELVAN

Drow Elven

Chaotic Neutral (Evil)

3rd level Fighter / 3rd level Thief

Her left eye was replaced with a magical glowing orb. Two identical orbs adorn the pommels of her crystalline short swords. The orbs are said to have great power, but she currently has no knowledge of them.

She was recently given a gift (curse) which has imbued her with a number of minor magical powers that grow as she increases in levels.

This character is played by me.

BREHANNA STEELHEART

Human

Lawful Good

3rd level Paladin

The evil of Ravenloft has already left its mark on Brehanna's soul. One can only hope that her strength, courage, and faith are enough to keep her on the unerring path of goodness.

She was given an amulet by an unknown power of good that allows her to magically call forth a wolf named Polerra. She can also join forms with the beast to become a werewolf.

This character is played by Denika Power.

KRINSIN LOCKE

Human

Chaotic Good

3rd level Mage

He has the potential to become one the most powerful mages ever. He is the lover of Kaira and has a raven familiar named Rashier.

He was given an amulet by an unknown power of good that allows him to magically call forth a raven named Razinshier. He can also join forms with the beast to become a wereraven.

This character is played by Chris Cook.

KAIRA

Half-Elven

Chaotic Neutral

4th level Fighter

She is the lover and protector of the mage Krinsin Locke. May the gods help any other man who tries to get a taste of her treasures.

She was given an amulet by an unknown power of good that allows her to magically call forth a white tiger named Begierra. She can also join forms with the beast to become a weretiger.

This character is played by Alana Strickland.

THAILUS AR-DAENAR

High Elven

Chaotic Neutral

3rd level Priest / 3rd level Bard

He vary rarely smiles. His voice is rough and his only joy is to be covered in the blood and gore of an undead creature.

He was recently given a gift (curse) which has imbued him with a number of magical fire based powers that grow as he increases in levels.

His gift (curse) will eventually turn him into a scarred creature of hate and malice.
