We do use your contact information to send you rental listings as well as reminders to report your lease and get our $100 Rent.com Reward. Our site requires you to give us contact information (name and email address).
We use this information to verify your identity, send you messages about
our company, and provide you with the opportunity to participate in Rent.com's
promotion(s) and other Rent.com Rewards.
Rent.com Owners &
Managers:
Our site's registration form requires you to give us contact information
(name, address, phone number, and email address) and billing information.
We use this information to establish and/or verify your identity, notify
you about communication from Rent.com Renters, and enable Rent.com Renters
to view your property's listing.
We use your billing and financial information to invoice you for products and services that you purchase through the site.
Use of Demographic and Profile Data
In our efforts to continually improve our product and service offerings, we collect and analyze demographic and profile data about our users' activity on our website.
We identify and use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website. Your IP address is also used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information.
We will occasionally ask you to complete optional online surveys. These surveys may ask you for contact information and demographic information (like zip code, age, or income level). Rent.com provides all users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications from us on behalf of our partners, and from us in general, after setting up an account.
