Do you have trouble understanding the aussies sometimes?
Well, so do most others..... here are a few interpretations of what that typical aussie bloke is
really saying!

G'day Mate
Hello and I'm pleased to make your acquaintance.
He's blotto!
That man is completely inebriated; beyond the capacity to stand up.
You little ripper!
Words of praise fail me.
Rack off.
Your presence is no longer required.
Fair Dinkum
Of course I'm telling the truth!
Pull ya head in
You may be correct in your assertion but shut up.
Wanna rage?
Would you like to drink large amounts of alcohol with me until we both drop?
You drongo!
You are a rather dimwitted person.
Your shout.
If you value your well being you should buy the next drink.
Go on.
I'm not entirely convinced you know what you're talking about.
Whadayawant?
Might I enquire about your needs?
Have a chunder.
The delicate act of regurgitation.
You pong!
Dear me, you smell a bit.
Bloody Oath!
I'm in total agreeance with you.
Ow-ya-go-un?
Might I enquire about your welfare?
Give it a go ya mug.
Are you perhaps incapable of performing this act?
Onya mate!
Whatever you did was very good or extremely stupid.
You awake?
A typical aussie bloke's idea of foreplay.
I'm goin ta point percy at the porcelain
I have to answer the call of nature.
Takin' a quick dash to the dunny
Same as above.
She's a beaut lookin' sheila mate!
What a beautiful woman!
Aussies also tend to add a lot of ie's and zza's to their words
for example, breakfast become
"brekkie",
the postman and milkman become
the
"postie" and the "milky".

Names like Gary, Barry, Darryl and Karen
are rapidly transformed into
Gazza, Bazza, Dazz and Kazza.
On a trip to the "local" or "pub"(public bar)
you will be able to buy a
"schooner"
(approx. 285 ml glass of beer)
or perhaps a
"bundy" & coke
(Bundaberg Rum)
or have a
"shot" at the "Pokies" (slot machines)
or you can drive through the
"bottleo" and buy a "tinnie",
an
"echo"
or a
"stubby" (small bottles or cans) of beer or even get a "slab"which is a carton of 24.
Late at night, when you've run out of "smokes" or milk
you can usually find a 24 hour
"servo" nearby where
you can just about pick up anything you need!

So there you have it!
Throw a
"snag" on the "barbie", grab your "tinnie" and your "sheila", put on some "Slim Dusty" and watch the "footy" on a "satdee arvo" and you'll be a "Typical Aussie "Bloke"!

A quick riddle:
Q: What's a typical Aussie 7-course meal?
