The Wheel of Time

Right now one of my favorite book series is "The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan. it is a fantasy story set in a time of magic and evil. in the first book, entitled The Eye of the World, the story mostly revolves around a young sheep herder, Rand al'Thor, and his two friends, Perrin Aybara and Mat Cauthon. They live in a small village called Emond's Field in the Two Rivers. other main characters that are introduced early on are, Egwene al'vere, Nynaeve al'Meara (two women from Emond's Field) Moiraine and her companion Lan. the advertures start when Moiraine and Lan arrive a few days before the holiday of Winternight. After a series of odd and chilling events Moiraine convinces Rand and his two friends to leave the Two Rivers with her for thier own safety. As she is trying to sneak them out Egwene and Nynaeve find out and decide to go with them. Moiraine consents and great work of literary fantasy begins. so far there are eight books in this series, in order, they are, The Eye of the World, The Great Hunt, The Dragon Reborn, The Shadow Rising, The Fires of Heaven, Lord of Chaos, A Crown of Swords, and The Path of Daggers. I am waiting, very impatiently for Jordan to write the next book in the series. As of right now i have no info on when the next book will be coming out but if i find out any info i will post it on this page.
