What would horror movies be without Director Wes Craven? His first movie "Last House on the left" was not something the box office shined on well. But since his second movie "A nightmare on elm street" he has produced many other scary thriller that has horror movie fans lining up for more. His most recent films "Scream" and "Scream2" have also been box office smashes and has given writer Keven Willamson a place to start out.Since Scream Willamson has Written "I know what you did last summer", "Scream2",and created the new teen hit show "Dawsons Creek". It is no suprize that Keven has tken off so big with a pro like Wes by his side. Though Wes is good at what he does he has said for quite some time now that he woul like to get out of the horror movie buisness. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out.

Stephen King

Getting into the books is like gettin into the mind of Stephen King. I have been a loyal reader of Stephen King since I have been very young. Though his based on book movies have been a disaster his writting has not changed. My personal Favorite of Kings collection is "Misery". I won't say the movie was bad but they didn't make Cathy Bates enough like her character. In the book she seems much darker. Another one of my faorites is "Carrie" (also butchered by the movie makers.) This book was about a teen who has an over religous mother and his otherwise hated in school. When Carrie discovers she has the aility to move objects with her mind she just blows up the whole dam town (not just the school like the movie portrated). If your looking for a good book that isn't all blood and gore (splatter punk) then pick up some of Kings work.
