A Queincenera is a very important day for a young hispanic girl. This is the day she turns fifteen and is consider an adult by all the communitty and her family. She is no longer a child and can now make decisions for herself but must now help out her family like a young woman would. There are some privliges on this day and of course the responsabilities that with this as well. For instance I got to pick out, buy , and wear this great dress that day. | ||||||||||||||||

As tradition has it a queincenera starts off at the church where she before god promises to keep herself pure till the day she marries and to be a help to her family and her community. Of cousre what better way to get to the church than in style. | ||||||||||||||||

This day is not only for family I mean who can forget their friends on a day like this. As tradition says there are suppose to be 14 damas and escorts but since Most of my friends were in pigskin that day my good friends came to my rescue and stood up for me I liked it that there were only seven. Don't the girls look hot in those dresses and the guys boy don't get me started | ||||||||||||||||
