This is the thoughts section where you'll have the pleasure of reading some of my views on particular subjects, and also other interests I have besides aol. First off, the most controversial subject in this miserable world, religion. I do not believe in any type of religion, nor do i believe in creationism. This belief only coming from the facts i have been given. Any proof that there is a supreme god or entity that created the universe would definitely change my opinion. The majority of so-called "Christians" are Science-illiterate and rely purely on blind faith. Most of them, i believe, are just too pathetic and ignorant to accept any other solution. Then there are fundamentalists who take the bible literally. I will not argue that the Holy Bible teaches good morals and an understanding of life, but I do NOT believe the Bible was meant to be taken literally. In an allegory sense, the Bible is a great book, but in a literal sense, it is pure nonsense and myth. Practicing good morals and helping society does not require going to church or praying to a mythical god. I don't have any beliefs on how the universe was created. Darwin's theory of evolution on how the world has evolved since the beginning of time is as far as my beliefs will go. (check out "Darwin's Dangerous Idea" - great book) For now, i am atheist, but still open-minded for facts or events leading to the existence of god.
Now a little information about me...my name is Michael Childers. I am 16 years old as of January 13th, 1998. I live in a sickening city called Tulsa in the barren wasteland of Oklahoma. Why is it so bad here? Well, it's not really. My only complaint is the heat. It is incredibly hot in the summertime! Today it was 104 degrees. I can't stand it and plan on moving up North when i'm able. Preferably Washington. I have a new Compaq presario 5030, 300 Mhz - pentium II computer. I have a PSX along with all of the best Squaresoft games. (i'm anxiously awaiting Final Fantasy VIII) I have a music composition program called Cakewalk Home Studio 7 which i use to compose midis for my non-existent, and hopeless role-playing game, "seed". (More in the "Music" Chapter) I have a ridiculous job with my friend Paul Pritchett, which i truly despise. I also hate the following: racism, fascism, fake emotions, counceling or "self-improvement" shit (as paul put it: "get some fucking will power"), drunken idiots, and moronic fucking fools who complain about everything.
