Awards Criteria
The first three are usually awarded one per site,
per month.
(You can submit for another next month)
Page Design: This award will
go to people whose pages are superbly built. Some of the guidelines for
this award are:

Little or no frames. (In other words, keep frames to a minimum, and be
sure they all work correctly)

All the pages in the site are well linked to one another. (i.e.,
it is easy to move throughout the site)

Well drawn custom graphics are a big plus.
Make sure that all the pages load swiftly. (We suggest limiting
the page size to a total of 30 or 40kb, including graphics)
Creativity: This is
a rather large category, and gives both us Ministers and the citizens lots
of room for interpretation. Since it would be quite impossible to have
a list of requirements for so large a criteria, here are some ideas:

A creative way of laying out the page(s).

Interesting contests of some kind.

Creative content, such as interactive stories, etc.
Content: This is awarded to people
whose site contents are informative or interesting. Such a site should:

be able to hold a reader's interest for at least 3 or 4 pages.

NOT contain mostly links.
This last award may be won in conjunction with any of
the three above....
Themed Site of the Month: Every month the
Ministers of Rivendell will pick one site to enter into the FortuneCity
Themed Site competition. That site will receive one of the following
graphics (winner's choice) to proudly display on their site. Since
Fantasy/RPG is, by definition, creation with a theme, citizens of Rivendell
should mop up in the competition.
