'Study of Akasha Du`Pont'

Known History

House Du`Pont, is headed by Countess Akasha Du`Pont. It is said she is ruthless and unfeeling but those close to her may tell another story. It is true that she is chaotic by nature by pattern and by choice. It is also so true that she combined her pattern once at the whim of Lord Errtu, Demon Lord of the Tan`Ari, and at his request they shared their patterns, imbueing Lord Errtu with Akasha's pattern as much as hers with his, which poses a question about her true strength and abilities.

The rumours about Akasha and her House and her dealings are many and vast. For example it is rumoured that she is vampiric, and although she does not hide her lust for blood it has not been proven that she is not vampiric. It is also vastly rumoured that she murdered her patron, but the ex Lord General of the Unicorns himself has told many that Bod her patron died whilst invoking a chaos star, that he himself saw this.

Akasha's House has survived much through it's History, founded by her ancestors, and passed down from mother to daughter, even before the founding of her House her family had a history many would find, perhaps incredulous. A tale of two sisters torn between their own hearts and love for each other, one deeply lawful the other deeply choatic, their arguements and fights bringing down Nations. But it is not something you`d hear from Akasha.

Nor would you hear her tell how her family founded their House, or how in her Homeland she rules without hesitation. Or even how she kept her lands after they where attacked and raised to the ground.

She is at sometimes secretive and shy, but mostly she is open and honest and lives for the fight.

Akasha has poured much of her wealth into the research of unliving. She finds their company often more interesting than the living. Though after many moon turnings she has, so it is rumoured found love in the arms of another, and he is living.

She is the Unicorn Ambassador to the Tarantula's a position passed to her by her patron, this too caused rumours but Akasha was undetered and continued to work hard on behalf of the Faction and had her position renewed by the Lady General Adelaina at the Gathering of the Nations 1098.

She has been spending much of her time in Egyptos, where it is rumoured she has been rebuilding a Huge Underdark City. It would seem her real Father sought her out and informed her of it's whereabouts and current state. Though non of this is confirmed.
