| This whole story begins with a 10 year old boy named Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town where he gets his pokemon license so he can catch and raise pokemon and get badges and beat trainers, so become the very best pokemon master. Ash started out with his first pokemon, Pikachu. He was more interested in getting a Squirtle, Charmander, or Bulbasaur, which he does eventually get. Along the way he is joined by the gym leader Brock (who's father Flint, takes over the gym), and Misty (who's sisters take over the gym), and go through many cities and towns to find and catch different species of pokemon. In almost every episode, they run into the evil (but not really) Team Rocket, made up of Jessie, the female, and James, the male, and they're talking Meowth. They always seem to win against them. After many episodes, Brock leaves and they get a new partner, Tracy. There are 8 gym leaders. Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge, Erika, Koga, Sabrina, Blaine, and Giovanni, the leader of team rocket. Pallet Town's Proffesor is Proffesor Oak. He created the Pokedex. In the pokemon Magazines, Proffesor Oaks rival is Proffesor Orville. Ashes rival is Gary Oak, Proffesor Oak's grandson.
