Okay, this is a relatively long list. Some of the rules are stated in the FAQ, but a lot are not. I will try to make this brief. For those of you who have been in role play sites before, the rules are pretty much the same the world over. Quickly glance over them, though, because there are some in here that you may not have seen before.

The higher the rule is on the list (the closer to the top) the more severe it is.

Threats of any kind will not be tolerated, unless they are done so IC (In Character) and to a character.

No flaming. Petty squables and bickering are fine, but they can easily blow up in your face. Try to be friendly to everyone. We're here to have fun and role play.

Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated.

Do not use other people's characters or NPCs without permission. A lot of people don't seem to understand this rule for some reason. It's a common sense rule. Another person can't dictate what another person's character thinks or feels or does, because they don't know.

Do not use another person's name while posting. Yes, it may seem funy to use someone else's name, but it is easy to find out who you really are.

No graphic material of any kind. Sex, nudity and excessive gore will not be tolerated. Minimal swearing is, but keep it at that.

Do not harm another person's character in any way without his/her permission. This is a very important rule. I don't go around with my character breaking everyone's arms just as they're about to wave at someone. While this is an exaggerated example, I'm sure it gets the point across.

No God Moding (GMing). What's God-Moding? Making your character (or someone your character can hide behind) invincible. What's an example of God-Moding? If you're in a situation that not even MacGuyver (sp?) can get out of, and you do... that's God-Moding.

No e-mailing other members non-gaming mesages unless given permission to do so.

Do not post anonymously. While I can find out who you are, it is very annoying and childish. If you're that afraid to use your name in a post, then don't write the post.

Check over your posts for grammar/spelling mistakes. While errors are fine, and are expected, no one likes to read a post ith rilly bad speling and dosent sens mak. :)

Can't think of any more right now... use some common sense. That's where a lot of these rules come from.
